its enclosed with a near T-34 troll angle front plate (angles do crazy stuff in warthunder/enlisted). Used to just charge stuff down in warthunder because as long as you were facing them, it had a high chance to bounce everything…and then BLAP…was really fun…and eventually upped in BR (rightfully so)
immune to small arms, strafing and HE/shrapnel (unlike sIG)…

Are you talking about the Su-5-3/2 with 122/152mm or are you talking about the SU 122?
The Su-5 variants are paper on the T-26 chassis, pretty sure that the open top can be strafed (unless the devs make some broken models).
If you want to add a later SU variant, I think one of the 152mm ones would be more fun on top tier.

Yeah, thats BR 2.5 - 3 for sure then. But I would rather have an open top 152mm glass cannon on BR 2 first.

SU 14 model 2. Armed with a 152mm gun. Model 1 had a 203mm B4. Sheathed with armor before being sent to Finland during the Winter War, but did not have time. Used in the Battle of Moscow. Model 2 has survived and is in the museum in Kubinka to this day.

SU 14 This is all from the game World of Tanks. Many tanks got their nicknames there.

ah i see. I did like the look of world of tanks…but I had played warthunder first soo…the Hitpoint system didnt grab me. I did smash World of Warships however…

na yes, the same heavy artillery is better to look for in World of Tanks. Like M7 Priest or M37 with 105mm howitzers for the US could be given for BR2
Su-122 would have to be BR3, similar armour to the T-34, and a large gun, would fit in with the other BR3 vehicles like the Sherman 105 and Chi Ha Short gun, would be a good excuse to add the StuH42 as well to BR3.

I mean all tanks which has hull gunners should be like that, but there has to be parity, its unfair that for some reason the T-28 gets special treatment when none of the japanese tanks or etc get it.
Its still very survivable, almost always surviving multiple shots, and more importantly its ATR immune making all BR1 handheld AT ineffective.
Also Shrapnel was removed from the base model, its APHE now, though I will say, the base T-28 is perfectly fine and balanced, its the T-28E which is the issue.
Not to mention your point about it being foldered, its just a weapon to be abused by veteran players.
Dunno what you mean by 15-ish here, but in general it will overpressure with its APHE depending on which patch of the damage model is in the game at the time. Its a semi nuclear APHE shell with its absolutely insane filler, something like half a KG of explosives.
My point there is related to the nuclear shell it gets, where if it penetrates, it will one shot anything it hits.

From the front, perhaps, with the MG turrets tanking rounds, but from the side it literally becomes a giant bus that is quite easy to pen with anything, and it is arguably much easier to destroy wtih EP.

Oh no, it is literally ATR immune, even from the side, it has all around 50mm protection, for comparison, most other nations at BR2, only have a 50mm plate for their UFP, everything else is less.
Also with EP’s isnt an argument with how OP EPs are atm, they need a nerf as well imo, but thats another argument. Its not even slightly easier vs any other tank, since all you have to do is throw at the middle of the tank on the floor by the tracks, and its a near certain one shot.

Regardless, anti infantry wise its a monster, and it will eat up any german BR1, 2 or 3 vehicle, there is not a single vehicle I feel out matched against in it, so by that metric, its also an anti vehicle monster.
