Because atm, the G41 is a nice baseline vs BR2 rifles, the SVT is the outlier in that regard. Buffing everything else to be in line with the SVT would just make BR2 suffer more.
Only BR where the soviets actually suffer for MG’s is BR2, the DP is on par, if a small bit under the MG-34, honestly I prefer to use the DP at range over the MG-34.
Not to mention BR5, the soviets rule the MG category.
Everyone is lacking a stummel equal, but its such a rare event vehicle, I dont sweat it too much.
PTRS is better imo, purely because it doesnt need to be prone/bipod, losing out on a tiny bit of extra penetration is minor. (Not to mention its not a limited BP weapon unlike the Solothurn which had no right being a limited BP weapon, the scoped version should have been BP and the unscoped version in the TT.)

Do you even play this game? The SVT-38 is miles better than the G41. Same damage but the G41 has a reload time of 4.8 compared to the 2.6 of the SVT-38, the G43’s barely better with 2.3.
Wrong the svt unlike the stupid g41 dont have the problem of reloading by clips (4.8 seconds a full reload of 2 clips)
Lets say that you have 6 bullets so to beggin with the animation to open the place where ammo is is 1 second then adding bullet per bullet is 0.8 second (2.4 seconds if we count the 4 bullets) then for the ending animation it takes another 1.2 seconds
On a summarized way it takes 4.8 seconds to reload 4 bullets and things get worse when you only have 1 bullet which is by far the worst since a 5 clip reload take 1.30 secs along 4 bullets more 2.4 seconds the start and ending animation together are 2.2 seconds so we are talking about 5.9 seconds
So then we have svt-38
An empty mag takes 2.6 seconds to reload but and a tactic reload 2.0 is half no… even less than HALF of the time required to reload the gewerh 41
Then let stop talking about germany and lets go to other nations
Except the US m1 garand (which still have a decent reload time 3.4 and a trade of 2 bullets less) i dont see another stupid rifle with 2.6 seconds of reload and 2 of tactic reload
