Stripper clip reload for SVT-38

Other main BR3 semi-auto rifles reload with a stripper clip (Type 4, Gewehr 41, M1 Garand). Why soviet SVT-38 is the exception?

as everyone knows when i first wake up i plot how to destroy the German faction. that being said i am tired of weeaboo asking to move the g43 to br3 which would mean the garand needs to move to br2. that being said the g41 was capable of using stripper clips as is the 38 is too strong for b3.

also who voted no, i mean i hate Germany as much as anyone but thats just mean.

Likely because it does actually have a detachable magazine, so stripper clip loading is only 1 of 2 ways of loading it - the others can ONLY be loaded by stripper clip or en-bloc.

I don’t recall - how does the Gewehr 43 reload - stripper clip[ or magazine? It also has a detachable magazine or stripper clip option

I don’t think we need to make things worse, but rather move other magazine-fed rifles to BR3.

tbh this, they belong to br3, including svt 40, g43 and such, on 4 they’re very underwhelming especially when you face 5th br.
BR4 should be mkb 42, ppsh drum and other weapons that are on br5 but just straight up inferior to better versions of them, kinda like how mg42 with 50 rounds is BR4 but the 100 round is 5

Maybe just debuf the reload or something. Adding a hole new animation nah …

Rather have the devs spend their very precious time creating something new.

Thanks - the G41 was reloaded by stripper clip IRL - the G43 added a detachable mag - although retaining the stripper clip possibility, so looks like that is why it and the SVT get mags while the others do not.

I mean the enfields and turners have detach mags, but still have to load stripper. (And turner gets slapped with the worst reload time on top of that)

maybe cause loading them with clips was actually faster than fumbling with that tiny mag?

Still own a jungle carbine)

As for the turner being super slow…
It literally reloads the same way…no reason to be slower at all

im not a specialist but quick google search told me that brits used clip carriers with the enfield, not spare mags, while soviets had dedicated mag pouches

Everything is ultimately detachable - but hey are not detachable in the sense of having preloaded ones in your belt.

It is “in line” with other SLR’s that have detachable mags - it is your opinion that is not.

That is exactly correct.

SMLE’s had detachable mags - but were only supplied with 1 - it could be easily removed for cleaning or replacing a damaged one, not for reloading the gun. Early versions had a chain linking the mag to the gun so it wouldn’t get lost - but that was found to be unnecessary.

because watching the
g41, type 4, johnson 41 reload two stripper clips in the same 2 seconds as the g43 would almost be as funny as watching the garand reload in 1.5 seconds you know for balance

What they “did do” is pretty irrelevant, and always has been in Enlisted (you know this more than most). Only interested in what the gun was capable of. If everyone else is doing Stripper clip at BR 3. As a point of balance, SVT 38 should aswell because it has that function.

  • AVT-40 wasnt to be used fully auto
  • Federov besides not really being used didnt have the spare mags around to NOT be reloaded with stripper clips
  • Alot of weapons likely only carried a couple of mags, and once used resorted to strippers.
  • combination of 2x Drums and Stick mags (cos drums are fucking heavy and awkard)
  • Paras dropping with MGs what
  • stand up AT rifles what
  • 15 round MKB what
  • 15 round scotti what
  • 200 round stinger what
  • *cough TT prototypes

etc etc etc

no, that’s not it at all. If ‘because it could’, then the G43 should be in BR3, which is not good. It should be changed for balancing.

fg42 paratrooper lmg cough is why we need the t20
its the only way to balance the 10 round s100

no other semi auto has more than five rounds (type 97)
all other ten round at are bolt action
the type 97 is only br1 because japan only has one br1 anti tank infantry weapon

yeah straight up its a half a case the stinger should be a hundred rounds
no tech tree mg currently in game should have more than 50 rounds

the lewis if ever added would be the rare exception
scoped ars need to go
all select fire rifles need to go
