Stevens Model 520-30 U.S. Trench Gun
Stevens 520
13. Stevens Model 520/620
> Weapon type: Shotgun
> Chambered in: 12 gauge

The Stevens Model 520 and its slightly newer and more streamlined 620 variant, were pump-action shotguns. The type used by the U.S. military in WWII were typically chambered for 12 gauge ammunition and often featured a heat shield over the barrel. They were designated for use as trench guns, riot guns, and training guns. Slightly over 45,000 of these guns were produced during the war.

The Stevens 620 and 520 were both pump-action shotguns designed by John Browning. The 520 was known for its take-down design and was produced by the J Stevens Arms & Tool Company until 1939, when it was replaced by the Model 520A. The 620, introduced in 1927, had a more modern profile and was produced until 1955. Both models were used as trench guns during World War II, with the 520-30 and 620A being marked with “Model 520-30” and “Model 620” respectively. The 520-30 trench guns had 20-inch barrels and heat shields with unique pinkish anodized bayonet lugs attached to the front. The 620A had a shortened trigger housing using a coil mainspring and lacked the trigger tang used on the 620. Both models were designed to be slam-fired, meaning they could be fired quickly by holding the trigger down while pumping the shotgun.

The US are slowly becoming the shotgun faction which make sense because it was the only faction to use shotguns en mass. The stevens 520 and 620 are much like the two winchester already in the game. Great as br2 even weapons that can be added with little difficulty. I would love to see more German shotguns and a least half a dozen suggestions exist. this is for us and the allied faction germany should get their own shotguns, sorry.

Are you suggesting this for Germany or USA?

us sorry thought that was clear,

absolutely no. US is already OP in shotgun department.

How so? And would this really be worse than the Browning Auto 5 assuming that is what you’re referring to?

Count me in, I love shotguns in the game and you can never have enough weapons to choose from  Adding it wouldn’t change the balance between factions as it would be just another shotgun for the Allies to pick from, and my guess is that their wouldn’t be much difference from the Browning Auto five and the Winchester.

I think this would be a fun event weapon, I would really love every faction to have a shotgun in br1 and in br2. Germany has no excuse for not having another shotgun, the Soviets well the best you could argue for their cause is lend lease. Even via lendlease that’s a hard push to make.

But German? Becker toggle action. Perfect for br2.

The US can easily get the Steven 520, I don’t think we need more TT shotguns though, so this should be reserved for an event.
