The home guard used shot and spherical ball rounds in large numbers. It would be interesting to have a sniper option for shotguns. Well sniper might be misleading unlike slug it’s round like a musket and shotguns are not rifled. It might be complicated but tanks can usually multiple ammo types it be interesting to see how enlisted infantry would manage. Would a slug like ammo be more or less useful than the current shot rounds used in game with all shotguns. If anyone has some more ammo suggestions feel free to comment below.
why? Just use a bolt action rifle. That kind of addition would not be meaningful at all

One because it gives more options, two because like a straight pull it’s not shoot, reload require target.
I prefer quality > quantity. More does not automatically mean better
Every faction, except Japan, already has rifles that do this. Unless you’re basically asking for BR1 straight pull rifles by asking for this, in which case you should have made that your biggest selling point in your post
Br1 maybe with a low capacity shotgun not already in the game like 4 or five rounds, might be worth it to do an improved attempt will have to look for some shotguns the home guard could have used considering they were buying and using everything they could get there hands on, I think it’s the first time you had something constructive for a post of mine
