Idk where the Madsen is from, ZB-36 was used by Germany as it was from the Czechs, so it could be similar to that?

Madsen is Danish. Just the Soviets got their hands on a lot of them like they do everything else.

Maxim was main HMG used during WW1 by major nations so it would be strange if they didn’t use one.
