After the end of the Spanish Civil War in 1939, only three arms manufacturers obtained government permission to resume the production of handguns: Uneta y Cía, Bonifacio Echevarría, and Gabinoldo y Cía. Uneta y Cía was in the best position to handle the orders being received from the Axis powers as a consequence of World War II. Although Spain was neutral, this did not mean it did not sell weapons, or what it could sell, to other countries. Why do I say this? To bring various pistol models to the Germans from my homeland: Spain. We currently have the Astra 300 model installed by the Russian forces, so I suggest the Astra 400 or the Astra 600 (comparative photos attached).
