player should not be allowed to possess grenades of the same type in a large grenade pouch, each one would have to be of different type
restrict rifleman class to be able to use WP grenades
if this wouldn help then id remove large grenade pouches entirely and refund players with something that is fair enough
or as a last possible solution id pick a restricting their amount per squad

restrict certain types of grenades to certain classess
example (rifleman can use anti infantry grenades, impact grenades, smoke grenades, maybe explosion packs only )
flametroopers (WP, molotovs, anti infantry, impact, explosion packs)
use of grenades in this game is already not realistic and game is leaning towards more arcade style anyway, therefore anything about grenades can be done here imo
once this is implemented, enable ability to sell explosives for fair amount of silver orders or transfer for bronze so people can sell or transfer excess equipment
imo it would best look with flametrooper squads, of course this will not stop people to have at least one WP grenade on each soldier equipped, but at least something will be done about it for now

more likely because it might start the mass wave of limitations of other things like weapons in this game and only then it would become like really difficult for them
I’m fine with that, but they really need to restrict certain classes to certain gear, like in your suggestion. That would make every soldier/squad more unique.
or maybe remove bag slot and move it to second slot, that would make engi, flame, mortar unable to bring any pouch at all, but dunno it seems little bit to hardcore for this game
well ability of freedom of choice which pouch soldier can have , id keep … people should be able to decide what pouch they want, if mortarman has ammo pouch, it doesnt mean it gives him more ammo for mortar, only main gun which is ok
large backpacks with medkits are essential for engineers too
this is exactly why i would exchange second slot/pouch for “your back” and to have there either pouches or special weapon, obviously restricting gunner to have pouch only. but since it is arcade game i can’t complain. it’s something i wish would happen, but can’t expect that really. or at least make it so in custom games
First, if you play in squad mode with a bot, this already makes the game arcade, and second, the use of a grenade bag and repeated grenades on the same soldier does not make the slightest difference for those who mainly play lone figther mode, since it will not be switching bots and throwing grenades after grenades, changing this will only be to fulfill requests from arcade players
If you are going to point this out, you’d have to point out the hundreds of other “unrealistic” things, second primary weapons are one of the most balanced upgrades in the game because you lose ammo or backpack
i know but if you have to choose between second slot or pouch why does engineer for example be able to have both second slot weapon and pouch? shouldn’t he be restricted from the top?
thats true but, but to see gunner with two different MGs is dumb at best, its a good example of ditching historical accuracy for better balance
and it only shows how ahistorical the game is in its current state anyway
