As we know, there will be some changes ro research and matchmaking in the future. While we don’t know the exact changes, i guess some of you are like me and have gone into a full prepper mode
Started grinding Berlin allies to unlock is-2, etc. Seeing as i already have panther and tiger from Normandy, this was the more urgent grind path for me. Maybe I’ll do axis next for KT if i can bother with it.
Started to use the Stalingrad experience booster to fully research squads i don’t usually care about: bombers, mortars, high level snipers etc. As we don’t know whether the bonus stays in some form or not, i thought it was the most prudent choice to make sure those squads are (hopefully) available for other campaigns in the future.
Started to buy and upgrade some spare guns, particularly in stalingrad to make use of the upgrade discount. Probably the most retarded preparation but whatever.
I was wondering what you are doing, fellow preppers?
I used to split my play time more or less equally between the 12 factions before, now full Berlin axis to get the Tiger, MP-43 and maybe Tiger 2 (unlikely, too far).
Stalingrad squads and weapons boosting sounds like a good idea but that’s match XP wasted for me because I’m maxed out on both factions.
Removed all the equiptment from squads I am not currently using, since I’m guessing once the update is launched some squads are going to be deleted and I don’t want to loose any of my shit. (I play every campaign, as every faction, and use every squad so needless to say it took a while)
Yeah i understand the campaign exp. wasting experience. I just personally feel that grinding squads is possibly the most tedious aspect of the game, and assuming that everything will be merged, then having some specialist squads fully researched and ready to go in case they become actually interesting/relevant at some point in the future is the perfect use of the Stalingrad campaign.
I never bothered grinding out a bomber squad in any other campaign. There i can get it done in a couple of days of casual playing.
Once I’m done doing that on the allied side, i probably repeat on axis as well.
I was maxed all sides/all campaigns before the initial announcement so I really don’t care but I will still point out that the game needs bugfixing above everything.
I’m prepering medic squads, they are only in Pacific/Stalingrad right now, but after merge i expect them to be available in most squads.
After maxing not much to do besides just looking for best drip across all campaigns, currently like Berlin Allied Mortarmen look with white jackets and Axis camo. Gotta find some outfits in Stalingrad as it has most options for now
I’m trying to farm both sides of Pacific and reach Tiger 2 as Axis Berlin, Tunisia Sherman II and Drum Tommy would be cool but it will not be as useful as things in other campaigns. I need to take advantage of 4 star equipment of Pacific and get and upgrade as many Johnson LMGS and BARs as possible.
I already have 20x Type 100 Smgs fully upgraded (both tanks fully crewed) maybe i should also get as many Type2a, i have multiple type 99 rifles so i’m wondering if they are good enough to upgrade since i have event squad.
In Stalingrad i have too many fully upgraded ppshes that even all tankers have them, avt-40 and more mkb42 sniper would be useful as long as we can have 3 squads of them at same time. Also multiple Kiraly/Soviet Tommy could get useful as mid BR smg squad.
it’s unlikely that weapon star rating will have any affect on BR, same with troop and squad rank, they only said that weapons/vehicles (no matter what star) will have different BR although we don’t know what about nades and mines since hey are atm unlocked at later levels. Imagine low lvl matches with zero demo packs and you are playing at fully upgraded BT-7A (f-32)
p-40e-1 on Allies. Since soviet fighter planes are usually absolutely shit on ammo count, the 6x 12.7mm with 1600rds is really great. Then it’s also got 2x 100kg and 1x 250kg bombs.
