Yeh I remember playing with you, with my clan, was a close fight!!!
I tried to just grind out my squads and then you guys made me turn on the full sweat mode to carry the team. Was close in the end, pretty fun.

I’ve gotten to end level with both sides in Normandy, Tunisia, Pacific, Stalingrad and Berlin Axis.
I have leveled some in Moscow and generally like it but was working Berlin Allies mostly when the change was announced. Without a timeframe it’s tough to know what to do.
I mostly just want to have fun but am driven to keep moving on Berlin Allies (I think I’m level 26 or so) to get the Federov and other items I don’t yet have.
Mainly I just want to have fun and hope that a matchmaker helps (along with ditching horrid trash like armored train).
I ended up maxing out the Berlin and Stalingrad campaign on both sides then purchasing all the high end equipment for every side.
For Stalingrad, I made sure to equip all my Engineers with either an Mkb42 or an AVT-40 depending on the faction.
I finally made sure all my squads had the highest level per class like having Engineer II’s or Assaulter III’s in every squad when available. I figured, I had so much silver I might as well utilize it. I always been getting rid of the old lower ranked soldiers to get bronze refunds then using them to max out soldiers in every squad.
The fun never ends lol.
I have already maxed out all campaigns but Moscow, so I WOULD be playing Moscow to level up… Except, Normandy is like 10x more efficient to farm points and complete the daily tasks of the current event more quickly.
Not a fan of this though.
i already had everything unlocked. the only faction i m behind is alies pacific (level 23) coz 0 reason to unlock more stuff right now.
so … by playing less… i guess…

Iirc there will be no soldier stars anymore.
That’s another fact… It isn’t like we can really “get ready” for something we don’t know how it will actually be like yet.
In doubt, since I don’t need any major upgrades to my lineups right now, I’m saving my silver and bronze. I can always spend later when it all becomes currency.

Given that we’ve gone through at least two major economy reworks already within 2 years or so, it is pretty safe to assume that the Devs themselves kinda navigate by sight in this sense.
Moscow just doesn’t have the 24/7 plane spam that you see in Normandy to make it as easy to grind points.
There is bomber wings called in every 8 mins and infinity revenge kamikaze bombers from the defender side every other squad in Normandy.
On average you could just use AA in a Normandy Match and your still walking out with 7500+ points.
Played a match earlier where I shot down 34 planes only 21 kills and I still walked out of that match with more 2/3s of the event done in one match only 10 of those were A.I bombers. I don’t think the recent move of pushing airspawns farther out worked enough but it was a step in the right direction.
Moscow is more tank and infantry rushes focused with the planes being a threat but not have the HE to clear a football field size threat so the Moscow game comes down to who can zerg and who can turtle better. .

Grinding berlin axis. Ive already maxed out normandy axis and pacific axis. Soviets are half way unlocked in every campaign. Western allies is not in my interest. I have played so much games with muricans over the years (nearly every ww2 big title) that i dont even want to see garand or thompson anymore

To be fairly honest:
All grind done, misses just 3-4 squads to reach top level. But those are squads I wouldnt play anyway. I just level them up for the pleasure sake. Until then I wont prepare myself. I will farm as much cards as I can and that’s it.
Given that my “latest” campaign is Berlin (USSR 27, Germany 29) (not interested in Normandy): which late war weapons should I prioritize grinding now?
Probably FG-42 II and Beretta 40-round (then MP-43/1 once I hopefully unlock it)?

It’s not late war but if you have Stalingrad pass then better grind and buy as many stolen ppsh-41 as possible and Thompsons m21/28, mkb42s (sniper too) should also be very useful and could potentially be used to play in lower BR matches. You are not interested in Normandy but what about Tunisia and Pacific? Pacific has really powerful Johnson LMG which is stronger than Bar and there it’s much easier to farm late Normandy stuff (m9 bazooka lv27 vs 37).MP43/1 and FG42II are def top tier weapons (don’t forget about STG44 and sniper stg), Beretta and Kiraly are fine smgs but can only work on maps that have many close encounters due the dmg drop off.
I have Stalingrad with the pass maxed out for both sides, buying PPSHs won’t be an issue once we figure out actually how many we will need with the new squads system.
Pacific on EU servers as US is hell right now in my experience.
I mean in terms of preparing US soldiers and weapons with the pass (4 stars) it’s still nice indeed.
Germany and soviets
For bolties: moscow and stalingrad (vz, mannlicher, dragoon)
For early semi autos: moscow stalingrad ( avs kiraly)
For anti tank : ofenrohr normandy or tunisia
Stalingrad all finished, Moscow nearly finished but focusing now on Berlin.
Ofenrohr from Normandy or Tunisia is months, if not years, away.
On a related note, is there any point in recruiting level II/III soldiers now and upgrading them?
The devblog reads really vague on this.
I enjoy the Enlisted in its current state. But prepare for leaving Enlisted after the big update. Looking for a replacement. Nevertheless i will give a try, but i think Enlisted gonna be completely unrealistic in the end. With WoT style Tank Combat and Fantasy Uniforms like in BFV. Nomimmersive WT Style Maps and a strange MM System. But i am ready to see if am wrong.
