It would be great if DF could design a small Italian tech‑tree branch that stays within the German faction, instead of endlessly churning out Italian event‑only squads
Britain was a nation with vast colonies during WWII. It could form a full‑fledged independent faction by incorporating captured Italian and French weapons.
Also, the large‑scale Chinese theatre, where resistance against Japanese aggression began as early as 1931, deserves its own new faction with maps spanning BR1 to BR3.
These units might face heavy criticism for historical inaccuracy once they appear in the Pacific theatre. Even so, they are at least more plausible compared to the Russian Liberation Army
If you would have read the post correctly instead of typing in a blind rage you’d have noticed it said 3-4 battles.
No. Not at all… you could have used weapons that weren’t even near the theatre that you used them in from low to high… I don’t think an m14/41 ever saw use in Normandy… or a crusader in pacific.
and what is the next step once you’ve ruined that and asking for more map rotation since you don’t care about historical immersion? huh and you will ask for BR 5 and the devs will comply cause they think they cater to the will of players and hope higher player count, while simultanuously actually destroying further what was Enlisted.
Yeha there was. The Tech was locked to the respective Campaign Maps, which could’ve been expanded and tweaked.
this is cause the game mess all up with not giving the british and the Italians their own tech tree.
and As I said could’ve been tweaked
You left out the change to the Marshal award, I am sure you do not mean to give the lamest dumbest and most worthless prize for another 90 days? Nothing says we appreciate your dedication to our game like a wet fart on a dirty napkin disguised as a reward portrait. Every time I get marshall and that stupid portrait it just reminds me how little this game appreciates its veteran players.
Everything else “We will see” you guys sound like T with all the bombastic rhetoric and promises. Capture is cancer with that 2 point zone if you are the attacker. It has the absolute lowest win rate. BUT I do not think ticketing the defender solves anything. Defenders should have an advantage its Art of War level simple to understand. What you could do it just not have 2 capture point game modes. Its dumb and pointless for the attacker. It is also the main reason people just leave matches. Tunis needs to happen due to the poor map rotation. It will be problematic with the high tier tanks dumping shells into the capture zones so maybe increase the zone size? I think the map with all the rock formations and pit homes will be more detrimental than an advantage to higher BR tanks. The open maps will be a real advantage of course. I just hope they do not ruin these maps to make them usable for higher BRs.
The issue is BR -/+ 3 gets dragged into BR 4+ only maps and not vice versa. I am SICK of playing the same map as Japan against the Russians. What is the point of Like and Dislike? You guys see the data anyway, our input is a fake placebo. Variety should be the name of the game unless its a new map in the rotation. The same map over and over again really is boring. Its like Germany playing Defense most of the time. As much as I hated the train map, it would be nice to see it once every few weeks not completely gone. D-day map just needs more flanking and cover for ATK US. It is a fun map if you know how to play it and indeed a classic. Same with the USSR gravel pit. Guess what in the real world there are indeed open spaces kind of ironic how a superior vantage point works that way in a 3d world. If people cannot adapt do not reward them with making it easy.
Adding other nations, start with India and China. Easy Red 2 has entire DLC campaigns of non traditional theaters of war. 2.5 million Indians ( provided the largest all-volunteer force in human history) fought for the UK, How many Indian units are there? (No, I am not Indian but they did a lot more than the Canada hype train). Ohh they landed on Normandy! The Indians fought in SE Asia, South Asia sacrificed millions of lives (Bengal famine 1943) for the war industry yet have no representation. If not them then Gurkhas and Sikhs. Sure easy to culturally appropriate their weapons but not give credit for their soldiers. The Russians are a gold mine for exotic national units.
I don’t mean to offend or sound rude, but that argument has no basis whatsoever, given that several squadrons in the game appear in theaters of operations where they never actually saw combat. This resistance to Axis-aligned Russian forces borders on childishness. After all, these combatants were part of World War II, with their successes and failures, mistakes and achievements, just like any others. I believe the game’s goal is also to provide historical insight into the combatants on both sides, allowing players to decide what kind of experience they want to have. Otherwise, games to this day would only allow you to play as the Allies.
Haha, I’m just joking — I’m not actually opposed to it. I was just simulating how history‑minded players might react and what they would say.
I myself even use Eastern‑front German troops to fight in the Tunisian theatre. The game long stopped caring about units from different theatres being mixed up, so I don’t bother either.
