And there’s also a SALTY noob question, can devs do something with their non-existing matchmaker? I mean, having full bot and newbie teams is really annoying. Ranks made it only worse, since you often meet squads who play the most-populated side in the most cancerous way.

but i suspect you are looking for answers.
i might not be the best individual here to be honest on this matter as luckely, i’m not afraid of losing lives in a game and help out the teammates, but if i have to guess on why they behave like that,
xp 1.5 of victory i believe.
possibly, accomplishment as well.

Matchmaker shouldn’t come here alone, but with bonuses for playing as less populated side.
Since I got my marshal rank, I want to play as sides that ain’t filled with annoying tryharders. But I just can’t lol, it’s painful af and usually ends somewhere near “leave the game” button.

you are playing a game to have fun, not to constantly " tryhard "
( … in a game like enlisted… yeah that says alot ).
plus if you lose, you can always change and improve your own tactics.
( i mean… yeah… using tactics in enlisted is also meh. but sometimes it works )

I’ve finally realized with people always complaining that they are always first on the team and that there ain’t no matchmaking, BUT there is, YOU the person in first place are the matchmaking. You were specifically put in that match to carry the team

Yes it is part of the process, but it is best to avoid it.
Many people consider winning a match is the fun they have.

Problem of this game is that the main mode is invasion, where you really feel when you start losing.
For example, many games have conquest or deathmatch, where you don’t really care about it if enemies aren’t annihilating your team.
i get an aneurysm seeing some stuff ppl do in games (genral not only enlisted), but i literally removed the chat key to prevent this outcome.
i played germany for a long time.
( until i started playing others factions )
so i understand that feeling. is part of the experience and “”“immersion”""

Answered to your post below. You definitely care about losing, because losing usually affects your gameplay. You have only one point and small battle zone, you play there or you don’t play at all.
