Many people say , " US weapons are suck, worse than German ones, or Fg42, mp43 are too OP"
Yes, that’s true, but this is not the problem of Allies. It’s problem of this game.
In the case of Germany, there is no reason to choose bolt-action rifle and 5.7 damage SMG instead of FG42 and MP43.
Higher damage and higher RPM is the only thing you consider when you choose a weapon.
So… how do we solve this ‘structural problem’?
Dev may rework all those weapons damage, but this is unrealistic way.
The easiest and simplest way is add a considerable level of debuff after receiving damage.
You will receive debuff(slowed, slow aim speed, unstable aim, and blurred screen)in proportion to received damage.
If there are such debuff after receiving damage, player who shoot first will be more advantageous.
The biggest problem between high damage, high rpm weapons and row damage, row rpm weapon is that you hardly beat down high damage, high rpm gun with row one.
But with this increased debuff after receiving damage, now you’ll be able to against high damage, rpm weapons more easily than before with row one.
And, as a bonus, large backpack will be better than before.
So, my point is, increase the debuff after receiving damage dramatically!
NO !, what you want is the suppression, add it to the rest of the visual debuffs that already exist and we will have to call enlisted WW2 camping simulator
When you are hit, there should be short time you are shocked/in pain so unable to fire. I stopped using slow SMGs as they are most of the time outclassed by high alpha damage rifles and MGs or fast SMGs. Enemy rushes against you in CQB, you hit him constantly (white hit markers) and then bam and you are on the ground because they had MG, rifle or SMG with double fire rate.
I think the problem is more your personal in this case (no offense) because, your belief that the German faction is superior is based on your personal experience as a player. The Enlisted is modeled that you can die from a single bullet, and whether it is bolt action or smg.
The idea that ROF and automatic weapons are some kind of meta is infinitely wrong when you can be just as successful with any weapon in the game.
Why a player who dedicates his time and resources to unlocking and using end game weapons has to suffer from the fact that some players simply disagree with it without being able to master non-automatic weapons. Also, there aren’t that many such maximum players. And the average Enlisted battle is going on, plus minus between lvl 10 campaign players.
Ps. I would even say the opposite, that the Soviets have much better automatic weapons. The Devs clung to the German faction, a wide variety of exotic trophic weapons, just to make a balance between all the good toys the Soviets have.
Exactly! The same as many complain when Panther is too OP but i grinded hours with free acc to unlock it at LVL 32 and didn’t even knew it was coming to Normandy, while Jumbo is unlockable at lvl20 and allies still complain about Panther which is too rare anyways tbh, as most players still use Pumas, Pz4 H
No no I said many times, It’s not a problem of Us vs German frame, It’s a problem of high rpm, high damage weapons vs low damage, low rpm weapons.
Automatic rifles are superior, and that’s not based on my experience, it’s objective fact that you can find in weapon stats.
And I also agree with you that there should be better weapons on higher campaign , but this does not mean that all player should only use higher-class weapons.
At least, there should be a helpful factor that ensure minimal performance for lower class and inferior weapon.
This is different problem.
My suggestion is good for both newbies and oldbies.
Newbies will be more helpful for your team, oldbies will have more options.
would feel kinda like counterstrike, and counterstrike is aids.
I think the best way to balance “bad weapons” is to give a squad with good weapons less active soldiers in it, which is kinda the main balance idea behind “trooper” squads getting 9 soldiers and “sniper” squads getting only 5 soldiers.
obvious problem with that is FG 42 for troopers and snipers being kinda useless / or just spamming ppsh and stg with your assaulters. The game needs the adress the way your squads are getting assembled
Dont want nothing of that shit ingame. i want the “clean”, fast experience the game currently provides
the best way its to acknowledge that you died from what ever gun it is, and either you try to get your revenge ingame and be on top, improve yourself ingame and move on. Most of the times, if not all the times, the dead lays on the way you did make your play. not on the gun the enemy have. start there. but always rememeber, we all loose matches, die over and over and we all have bad games. its part of the fun the game provides.
a starter rifle kills with a single shot/downs on a single shot. you dont need 30 minutes of ajusting the sights to kill a player. no weapon he have in hand against you is the problem on the equasion.
and besides that, FG42 isnt that common ingame as people try to picture it. atleast, on all the games i played on all campaigns that have it.
the game need to be balanced over the unbalance it is.
i get a better tank on X faction? Y gets a better plane-
i get a better smg? you get a better AR. and so on…
sadly we cant go back in time and have the countrys make a fg42 stg what ever clone on the other factions.
i agree but you have to admit being able to put the fg42 mk2 on every fileman on berlin is a bit nuts. i think the fg42 itself isn’t that bad but the mk2 holy shit that thing is a wmd
