but yeah, i wasn’t aware of this bug where you could keep selecting the same guy for accademy, and keep using that one.
for example, for me this wasn’t available.
so i always had the randomic thingy.
Special or not I was affected by the wipe.
The bug worked in CBT and in OBT until now.
than, you can’t have the same guy from cbt into obt…

You put three guys in the academy expect the first guy that was selected will always come back.
So the guy that is on the first place before you smash that STAR TRAINING button will be the one that will come back with extra star.

you didn’t had to put the exact same guy in order to make the bug work
you just placed on the first place soldier you liked and the two other as fillers
so in the end you could build army of soldiers that you liked or soldiers with cool names etc…
nothing like this soldier is the chosen one he will bring balance to the war

Are you like mentally handicapped? Wtf does ability have to do with the name and deciding to keep certain soldiers in the squad and level them up? Are you having an episode buddy?
you just didn’t care/noticed, everytime you press the button the soldiers switch places so you probably thought that the first you sent in was the guy on the top when the process was undergoing/finished

Now the behavior is what one would expect reading this text.
Formally, nothing here says it is random choice. The point however is not what is by design and what is a bug. The point is what is good for game.
Lottery is brainless. Selecting your soldiers and growing them used to be somewhat important part of the game which now has lost a bit of personality for no gain.
Formally you now have to pay if you want to keep your soldiers. But it is pretty hard to develop an affection to your soldiers when by one “fix” they all became faceless, nameless and expendable.
