Oh I’m aware. It’s just a very bad decision to port it without changing that, and I would’ve thought they would do it. The war thunder value was already very overtuned.

dont forget it has no turret, almost no armor, and the crew is exposed.

I used SiG quite a bit when revisiting BR2 Germany and man that tank is busted in terms of firepower. It sucks at everything else but the sheer shelling potential is way too high. It’s good it’s BR3 even though I don’t think it will be ‘the greatest’ there but that’s fine. Not like event weaponry should be better than TT versions anyway
There were plenty of complaints. I personally wouldn’t mind the tank if it didn’t face BR1 but it did and it’s good they changed that. Not to mention I changed my view about this tank that’s it’s stronger than I anticipated after playing it

Exactly - but it’s hard to expect competence from new players in BR1, hence it being BR3 is imo a step towards the right direction, even if it the tank gets a bit onto the weaker end of the power spectrum

Well, after this I think you are right because apparently even the most skilled people in the game struggle to deal with a paper tank, “they” are barely able to spot it to begin with.
So many it comes back to the same four to five people at the end.

This is seriously my number 1 issue with game balance nowadays. It is difficult to discuss the BR placement of weapons considering that we also have to take into accound the fact that they can be downtiered or uptiered.
BR +/- 0 would be the best and the BR placement of many weapons and vehicle could be reviewed. Unfortuantly I doubt that this will happen given the current state of the game…
And KV-1 can be taken out with literally by anything. including an anti-tank rifle. Well, SIg simply dematerializes the KV-1
I mean, imo, the 75/76mm short gun HE spammers are way way way worse for the game, at least the SiG has a longer reload, and with how HE works, often they only kill about as much as each other. Not to mention 75/76mm HE spam, you know its happening instantly because your ears will be ringing as a shell lands on you ever 3-4 seconds.
This is so fucking true, I mean the big action mod proves it, and the WW1 mod Ive been really enjoying, not to mention they buffed digging, so digging trenches is both a legitimate and effective strategy.

…Not really a policy that they have ever looked like wanting to adopt (and dont in warthunder, so theres no reason to think it will change). Pretty hard to find an event vehicle that “isn’t” better than what’s in the tech tree. (T-34 100 comes to mind, Whirlind, xa 38, spitfire Mk IX, hanomag, heavy tank no. 6, A6M3, bren carrier etc etc)
Even straight up weapon copy’s like the event Red PPS have has .2 more damage lol

Well not really, all you need to do is look whos using the KV, send friend request preferably in steam / discord so theres sound notification.
Then kindly ask the crew to come out → kill them → wait for a while, I dont remember whats the timelimit how long tank has to be empty in order to kill it with pretty much anything.
Totally comparable to sig that dies on frontal shot from any AT rifle from any range.
Wasnt expecting any lesser argument from this gentleman.
