Am I the only one who thinks that the Shpitalny PP-43 with the folded stock looks absolutely fucking awesome?
God damn, it looks like PP-2000’s grandpa.
I suggest folding the stock on this weapon. Or making it optional. Or allowing the ability to fold and unfold the stock in-game. Similar to how it’s implemented on rifle grenade launchers.
They could add it to the pistol inventory, kind of like the Soviet Yazikov or the Allied Swartz.
Then it would be a very powerful autopistol. Although, in general, nothing terrible will probably happen if someone ended up with one to four SMGs in unintended slots.
As noted, theyre functionally same in size and weight
Im really trying to say its smaller than a Yazikov and apparently even weighs less (2.4 vs 2.3kg)
It is indeed quite ahead of its time in ergonomics design

It doesn’t have a damn front sight. And the developers don’t care at all. The Shpitalny PP-43 buttstock is designed to be used as a front grip when folded.

Theoretically it could be instituted as an SMG pistol, however, it’s Soviet and they already have the Yazikov, which IMOP is fairly similar. Of course, there is no rule that says you can’t have two SMG pistols 
. I have six Yazikov’s and could always use a couple other SMG pistols 
. Too bad this wasn’t German because they need something like this as a pistol. I doubt the Dev’s would consider converting it to an SMG pistol though. 
As an SMG, I don’t see that I would have much use for it since there are better options at SMG.
If I was a soldier fighting with this weapon, I would carry it with the stock folded, but I wouldn’t fight with it like that.
Why would I just not use a perfectly usable stock when it’s right there on the gun…?

It’s always amusing how people come up with “real” uses for not real weapons.
My suspension of disbelief does not include doing objectively dumb stuff when I should have the option not to do it.
You might not care, but having a unfolded stock bugs me as much as having a unfolded bayonet still attached to the rifle.
Then it would probably be more preferable for you to make it optional.
However, the likelihood of this option being implemented is less likely.
