Thanks for just sitting in the back going for easy kills with the Jumbo, P-47 and Snipers. I see you guys already have the challenges so you just play like always. Why even bother playing the campaign if all you go for is farming kills while not even trying to win the match.
It´s not like there´s no high level guys who could carry, it´s just that they suck ass compared to the Axis ones in everything that doesn´t involve jumping into peoples faces with high RoF guns. I guess that´s what farming easy kills with Jumbo and P-47 does to a mf.
How anyone can even recommend this campaign is beyond me, when it´s a chore to play as either team.
FG42 and P-47/P-38 are a little too good at what they do in my experience but otherwise both factions have different strenghts wich I can somewhat appreciate.
Nah not at all. FG42 has very little recoil making it a must have crutch, P-47 can take out everything from Infantry to tanks to other planes with ease and the P-38 has good maneuverabilty and well placed rocket pods wich can with some practice consistently take out armor.
More than half my matches are comprised of Marshalls on the Axis side and 70% Springfield users on my team, I rush the cap, make rallies and assault objectives to no avail, beach maps are the worst in this regard, it’s mostly just grayzone camping and spamming bombs in the Ju-188. I agree the P-38 and P-47 are on the a bit on the overcooked side, but Axis equipment is no slouch either.
That thing can only reliably take out masses of Infantry with it´s rockets and M5, M8 with it´s 37mm. The 37mm is so hard to aim with that many pilots don´t even see me as a threat, or it´s just the bug where the enemy plane is invisible and the game doesn´t show that someone is damaging you.
The P-47 has just a much easier time doing everything other planes can with it being the perfect allrounder.
I have been sweating my nuts off with the M1A1 thompson, M2 FMW, BAR, and Garands with an M4A2 in the objectives trying to carry alone against a team of marshals
I guess my efforts are unnoticed

Normandy is probably the most unbalanced campaign in the game. Many mistakes have been made, same in moscow, berlin, and tunisia. Just the devs refuse to correct them.
that sounds like a far different experience than what i had with the 110 since i’m able take out aircrafts with 1 burst of the 30s and the 37, use those same guns to get some infantry kills and if needs be take out tanks with a rocket hit (also here is something fun the 37mm can go through a spot on the m4a1)
There is some wave of morons lately. Every other game it feels like I’m the only one actually doing anything, the rest of my team has barely any objective kills, no vehicle kills, no caps, no engineer points. Just lie down in gray zone and get a kill per 5 minutes
It’s most likely that a vast majority of them are bots, which only makes it more difficult for the few actual players to do anything. Especially if they are newbies, which they probably are if they are not on already on the PvE side of the campaign.
Yes, start on your bunkers with MG 42s, as i sit on the beach in my self made trench line with my trusty Springfield scoped rifle… One match i actually said to myself… maybe these guys like me blowing their heads off.
Since ALLIED players can only fight the Normandy landings with P47s and m4a3e2, it really saddens me every time I see ALLIED players being beaten to death by FG42, MP43/1, M38, MP35 long barrel, Tiger, and Panther no matter how hard they try
