yeah. as i said in other posts… doesn’t help the fact that this game as free to play one, lots of people will join because of the most popular campaigns.
which among the 5, normandy is the top popular one.
as i played both axis and allies, i noticed that generally, in the ally players of normandy ( not the other campaigns ) they tend to be… less cooperative and majority of the time, lay back as you correctly mentioned.
beside, i don’t say ally weapons are bad, but imo, missplaced across the campaign.
not really inspiring…

Ve heard stories from Germans that they have issues to kill it through the front with Panther and Tiger. So kind of even.
I noted sherman 76 can frontally pen and OHK both panther, tiger at close distance

With the only late war campaign where Axis players can enjoy their late war stuff without facing Soviet SMGs and tanks, I could see why they get lots of wins recently and lots of players with high level equipment too.
Also the place where they fight Stuarts with Tigers.

See, here is the problem, you need to have fully upgraded Grease guns on your assaulters. That way you have the chance to miss 3 shots before the german guns you down with their MP 43
I was surprised as well when I tested this. It’s not as good as the 77 on the M10, but at least you have some armor and is actually mobile without upgrades. (Also I find it funny that the 76 Sherman can’t pen the front of the Panther so you have to aim at the gun mantle/turret while it pens the Tiger without any issues on the front)

It´s not it that the 37 doesn´t do any damage, outside of the typical air combat buggyness, it´s trying to land the hits is the hard part for me. The mix of odd velocity and harsh bullet drop makes it a chore to use against planes.
I’ve played 95% Normandy Allies. Do people actually cooperate in other campaigns? I assumed it would be the same everywhere, but people being attracted to the American invasion makes sense. Any recommendations for factions that actually build rally points?
