The Italian tanks we have in game are rather mediocre, and belong at low BR where they currently are, but the world of Italian self propelled guns opens the way for higher BR Italian armor, as these were one of the better aspects of the Italian arsenal. The particular one I will talk about is the Semovente da 105/25, which translates to ‘self propelled gun 105/25’ . This was a casemate self propelled gun based off of the hull of the Semovente M42 and upgunned to the 105mm L/25 howitzer, made as a stopgap while the P26/40 was being developed. Due to the vehicle’s large disadvantages compared to contemporary vehicles with large caliber cannons (most notable the Sherman 105), most notably being it’s lack of a machine gun, limited gun traverse, and long reload time (10 seconds), I think the dual purpose HEAT shells would balance this out nicely. Adding this tank to the tech tree would finally give germany a high caliber SPG on BR3 like all the other nations have, and it would be a pretty good one at that.
