Sd.Kfz.251/1 MG nerfed from 100 to 50 rounds.. nice!

Here is a screenshot from a video posted by everyone’s favorite, paradivision… showing the apc with its un-nerfed state having 100 rounds in the mag.

And now today post the two most recent patches… it only having 50 rounds!

Jfc. Atleast it wasn’t silent

Is this not violating consumer laws? It’s funny they didn’t put it in any patch notes from what i can find… almost like they’re trying to hide it.

Just give it a 100 rd box jesus christ… they choose the weirdest shit to listen to… yet i’m thankful they don’t for the most popular things

Idk but probably not

DF makes several changes that aren’t mentioned in the update notes, so that’s normal

This is very difficult for devs lol

A box yes as i don’t know if that even existed but they could just hang a belt off it

Adjusting paid content without notice should not be normal… and a comment like that on a suggestion that’s archived anyway is not valid notice… not directed at you.

On the upside, it means less overheating of the MG…on the downside, with the nerf to the objective range and the nerfed driving characteristics…it’s a blow to us who paid for the Premium APC.

Meanwhile, the MG42 in the MG nest, despite having the same 50-round magazine in appearance, comes with infinite ammunition and a vastly longer time before overheating compared to the Sd.Kfz.251.

As expected from Gaijin. Supposedly the same weapon, yet there’s an overwhelming difference in performance. 10/10 physics. Perfectly fitting for a sibling game to War Thunder, which is advertised with “You can learn about physics.”

Because the MG42 on the Sd.Kfz. 251 can be operated using a belt, in practice it is sufficient to simply transplant the already modeled MG42 100 belt. If even that is too much trouble, it is also possible to remove the belt itself altogether, as is done with the MG34 in the MG Nest.

I’ve had the Sdkfz. 251 since it was released, it’s my go-to vehicle whenever I play Germany and much to my surprise I found myself liking it much better this way, as it no longer overheats after firing a quick burst for a few seconds. It takes a few gameplays to get used to it. But the overheat is pretty much non existent anymore, all it does is reloading which it doesn’t take that long. I do wish they would let us know about this type of changes in advance tho. But it’s definitely much better than the M2 Browning on the LVT or the M3 lend-lease halftrack, despite having more ammo, it’s very frustrating getting white markers and it feels like they overheat way too quickly. I wish they’d buff the damage on those vehicles next. Their only advantage currently is better elevation when firing targets in the sky, something which the Sdkfz. 251 can’t do, but even then they don’t cause much damage and most of the time it will overheat before you can bring your target down.

Funny how german apcs capacity is fixed immediately yet we still have 200 round stinger

It clearly has a 50 round box on the gun.

Also, since overheat change this APC has actually been buffed, despite the ammo reduction.

Instead of complaining about sdkfz, can we please finally get Stingers capacity also fixed?

Don’t blame the overheating because you lack the ability to control your fire.

It did absolutely nothing but reduce the ammo… and if they did reduce the cooldown they should have said that

They changed a premium vehicle without any announcement… that dishonest and a slap in the face to anyone who purchases stuff.
