Saboteurs Faction Auto Change

I decided to test this infected class and I’ve detected a serious flaw: its main weapon won’t fool anyone if you’re facing a nation that doesn’t usually have it. For example, Japan appears on a Soviet map with a Thompson submachine gun. What I’m suggesting is that, depending on the map, that soldier should have an automatic weapon selection within the map to try to blend in as quickly as possible. Another example: the Allied saboteur appears with a Type 100 submachine gun, and I highly doubt you’d find a Japanese weapon in Normandy, so when battle starts if you play example japan vs soviets the saboteur get a soviet gun, but if they fight against muricans they get the thompson

It’s super obvious. And the only reason they haven’t done it is because they simply can’t implement it (It’s so sad when you’ve forgotten how to develop your own game).

Although, in my opinion, if you can’t do something properly, then maybe you just shouldn’t do it, instead of releasing a stub like the Saboteur class we got.

These are different systems. A weapon selection system to the different campaigns the player might encounter could help here.

And overall, this system would be very useful even outside the context of the Saboteur class.

All that’s left is to figure out who to sell it to and how. Otherwise, they won’t bother.

You can swap out the weapon and use that as a weapon on anyone else.

I was playing as Japan against soviets and pretty sure the saboteur I killed had a MP35?

I was like… pretty sus
