Is the grashopper even in WT?
I dont think so, but if it isnt in WT there is little chance the enlisted devs would create it themselves.

If it is a real flying vehicle that existed in World War II history, why should we vote against it?
The main reason to vote no would be something like
Not worth the dev time / opportunity cost / time better spent on something else
or
It was only a 1 off thing /prototype which a good number of players dislike
If you agree or not is up to you but that would be the main reasons against certain additions.

It would probably be a funny gag vehicle like the WW1 vehicles in War Thunder it’s an artillery spotter plane with bazookas strapped to it.
But the key point is that the Allied reconnaissance aircraft carrying the bazooka rocket launcher actually existed in history, and it wasn’t made up out of thin air. Do you understand?
No, the official development team is perfectly suited to updating such small flying vehicles because they are historically accurate for World War II and don’t require much time for modification and production. They’re just missing a mod for a reconnaissance aircraft and a bazooka.
They dont just need the 3D model but also the flight model which is very unique to this plane as opposed to every other plane in the game the grasshopper was primarily built with just cloth on a timber frame.
So unless the enlisted devs are capable of building such a flight model from the ground up without beeing able to just modify any of the existing planes.
But given that so far all the devs did was copy paste planes from WT I highly doubt they would be able to pull off such a feat when they were unable to fix a lot of broken planes for years and still have not done it.

You make a very good point, but I feel that the Enlisted developers should find it quite easy to create a mod for these small reconnaissance aircraft—it’s really just a matter of time. At best, it might take a couple of weeks; at worst, maybe a month. Surely they wouldn’t drag it out for a whole year without getting it done, right?

The Universal carriers are models unique to enlisted I don’t see why a spotter plane can’t be they can even add the auto orbit function from WT and let the pilot use binos and call Arty make its own class Spotter planes.
