It’s a highly dysinfunctional and abused system if you litterally just sat in your plane downing bot bombers without actually helping the team with 0 engineer and defense points, and end up with almost twice as much the score of teammates who effectively contributed the most. The wet dream of a camper бобр.
My suggestion is : consider lowering exp points in this case and assign them only if the planes are destroyed before the aistrike and not after.
Score points dont reflect xp gain, this Is a non issue.
they are definitely correlated, just by observing the matches I had today, xp is on average in the interval [score points - 400, score points + 400]

We still need to encourage people to shoot down bombers. So I suggest keep the exp gain but lower the score he gets. So he will not get top1 by farming bombers.

That would make sense. But why not increase substantially exp for those who defend and attack the point, the scoreboard doesn’t really reflect how the match went down.

Yeah no, squads have an xp cap you can do 13000 score and only get 5000xp if you use 1 squad without dying the whole game
What is toxic about shoting down enemy bombers? I mean, you can really do it yourself, you have all tools to do it.
Toxic is wasting time on shooting the bombers that have already dropped the bombs instead of attacking / defending the point. Also - when 2 players + a plane are trying to kill more bombers than each other.
You are not every time in good position to shot them before they drop those bombs. If someone can get there after they droped bombs he should just stop and not get those exp?
I have no problem with that, the issue arises when you sit comfortably in your plane, buid nothing, defend nothing and end up in the top of the scoreboard. That’s what a parasite would do, farming while a bunch of your teammates work their a** off.
That is toxic, but you could have easily get those kills with one AA gun, then you would get those points and he would get nothing.
XP from shooting down the bombers needs to be limited. In one minute you can get the same points as from killing 58 enemy soldiers:
While unharmed bombers can kill maybe 10- 20 enemies 
Personally, I appreciate it because it would be very helpful to destroy the bomber spam that is unpleasant and destroys my rally points.
