But I agree, I have no problem if the bombers are shot down BEFORE the airstrike. Instead you get an absolute inflated amount of exp even after the airstrike.
The scoreboard should reflect who contributed more or less by defending and attacking the point or by just camping respectively. If I tried everything and at the end of the match, and this case I couldn’t relax and build AA, my opnion is that this mechanism is abused in a toxic way.
Lowering the exp for destroying a bomber is not necessary, but give at least much more points for attacking and defending the point, that is where the match is played decisively.
Do you think that bombers are remotely controlled with no crew? Bombers in the game are Heinkel He 11 and they had crew of five people each so he should have more kills than you but since game doesn’t count them as more than vehicle kills then it’s obvious why you are surprised and angry. 1st dude should have 120k and be still at first place due 83 assists. So game is working as intended.
Shooting down bombers is a fool-proof task as they are static and predictable targets. You just need to shoot them when your are perpendicular and not behind them espacially if you have a weak-armored plane.
If it’s about score, I don’t care at all as it’s only useful for bragging rights.
As long as xp gains are not impacted.
Ppl here forget that lvling fighter pilots squads is the most time consuming and boring task in the game… So fighter pilots deserve good xp (or at least reduced xp requirements to lvl…)
Meanwhile BP tasks:
“take 1 place”
“get better that 80% of team”
Events:
“get 15k score”, not XP
yeah, nobody cares
And I’m now that guy, who builds AA every time he hears something flying. But it feels so wrong, when for 5-10 clicks you get more score than for capturing all 5 points in the invasion.
Should be xp-wise like this but planes shouldn’t be that easy to kill. I don’t like the old sponges but I don’t know if the current system makes more sense where I can shoot down entire formations with a Ju87 (and not even the Berlin one).
159 kills, 151 assists, 29 planes/tanks destroyeds and 5 only bombers. I think I’m most usefull in my planes than building fucking rally points. I can literraly stop the enemy advance on the front by having an intelligent bombing on it.
Guess not, bold from you showing off this leaderboard when you played against a team of cubs. And I never said planes are not useful, that’s not even the point of this discussion.
In my case we were defending and you can bomb all day long, without people on the point you rapidly lose the match .
Nah, it’s good that fighters have a reliable way to get XP. Stop whining about something so pointless. It literally doesn’t affect you and people killing those bombers means that your team can get on point safely without going all the way around the map.
Why is it that everyone wants to nerf something? Next you’ll be complaining about the grind
You are twisting my words when literally in every following posts I repeated that I have no problem if bombers are destroyed before the airstrike. It doesn’t affect only me but the entire team and that is the point of this discussion.
There are situations when you need to rush the point and throw bodies to it and instead certain players, by downining bombers AFTER the airstrikes, are just farming points thanks to teammates who are prolonging the length of the match.
I play not only against team of “cubs” but in a middle of team of “cubs” and I’m always an insane fighter/bomber pilot. stop being jealous man, try to skill up and try to be an insane pilot to make more points, stop ask for nerf all things you can’t be good at.
I wouldnt say worthless. Air support is a great assest to a good team/player on the ground.
But if there is no “good” boots on the ground, the pilots work is vain. Might aswell enjoy pwning if no one else can get anything done.
Strictly speaking i suppose you dont really need air support in this game, maybe to remove the odd annoying tank from time to time…but it is fun and im glad fighter planes have something extra to do now
agree, I’m a warthunder and world of tank player at the origin, not a COD player. Running, jumping and dying like a rabbit is not for me. I m often in bots team or camping players with snipe and I can’t do anything more than bombing and fight others planes. I think this game is good but teamplay isn’t in this game.
I would love a real coop between players with a suprem commander like in batlefield 2 for those like me are ancient players. In BF2, higher rank players could take the lead of the entire team and gave orders at each squads on the battlefiled by an aerial view. I think in enlisted it could be a great addition to the gameplay.
