Rework Firing Sequence And Buff Rate Off Fire Of PzB-38 and PzB-39

instead of closing and opening the cartridge holder per shot, it should remain open until the user unequips the weapon to switch a different weapon.

the cartridge holder only opening and closing when equipped and unequipped.

with this change it should increase this ATR’s rate of fire from 14 to 21-41

Quick question what’s the name of that game in that second video.

Maybe add a scope for them?

Formerly Known as Post Scriptum, renamed as squad 44. Kinda dead game unless you set up an event. Its basically ww2 setting of squad

Idk if scopes for this ATR Exist

That would definitely be an improvement, I don’t know the specifics but wouldn’t the bolt carrier move back during reload after firing anyway? Makes sense to shorten the downtime if that’s the case in addition to a slight rof buff. Either way both these rifles are the worst ones in the game, I’d rather use a PTRD over this. Now that’s making me want to dig more into that weapon specifics. Obviously 80 rifles are going to be slower firing in real life . But if it’s at least somewhat comparable to some of the other at weapons then that’s all the proof we need that it needs an immediate rate of fire buff, the main difference then would be it’s completely justified both for balance and for historical accuracy.

After doing some further digging I noticed something, the PTRD will automatically extract the round after firing. All the user has to do is slide a new round in close the port and fire again. The PzB-38 also had this same exact extraction system. Fire the weapon bolt flies open case extracts soldier slides new round in closes the port and fires.

The PTRD fires at 15 rounds a minute in game, in real life firing it 8 rounds a minute up to a maximum of 10. It would make more sense for the PzB-38 to at a minimum reach the level of the PTRD, considering it extracts in a similar way and had a minimum baseline of 10 rounds of minute. The PzB-39 historically based on reports had the same rate of fire, despite the missing components in Auto extraction. There’s definitely plenty of information out there, that only took a few minutes to find all that. This desperately needs that rate of fire buff as it’s not even meeting its historical accurate rate of fire, but I guess that’s not the only thing with the same issue in the German Tech tree , I’m looking at you FNAB.

I have more rework suggestions coming. I have to do it every week. Next one is mg34’s reload

Well, not that I am advocating for it, but every video I have ever seen of a STG44 - it clearly shows that it shoots slower than MP40. In other words STG and MKB had the same rate of fire.
In yet more other words - STG44 with real RPM would make it even trashy in BR4.

There are alot of incorrect RPMs on multiple guns.
600 - 650 RPM PPS43 for example is its real rate of fire.
