Lets use a sniper squad as an example. Snipers used to work in small groups, so their squad will always be smaller than the assault one. At the same time gaining extra space for some specialists in the squad will allow the Enlisted mechanics to make it more dangerous for the enemy, and more useful to you
@Keofox , tell those devs they know nothing about history
Previous game issue was that Assaulter squad was too strong, SO WHY MAKE IT STRONGER AND NERF OTHER SQUADS???
The old system already had too much specialized units, this new one has EVEN MORE???
If all of these systems are introduced, I would like to know if all the goods systems currently being tested will be discontinued or will be added to the current system.
Well, this is a lot of news to go through.
First of all, I like the idea of giving bags purpose as long as they won´t limit soldiers too much.
I´m also glad, that rework of progression is indeed considered, but silver tickets confirmed, devs seem to be confident that lootboxes are all good, fun and ethical, which is both wrong and disappointing. At least don´t monetize them if you guys are so confident at keeping them around at any cost (turning them into real life money gambling).
As for battlepass… well I was skeptical, and will continue being skeptical because of how terrible can time and paywall gating rewards logic be. But we saw this coming from the very start of the talking about monetization. @Keofox Is there a possibility that some missed out battlepass rewards will appear in some kind of store much later after season ends, as was already suggested in comment under TCat´s battlepass thread, in order to lower psychological pressure?
Also, I would like to ask one more daring question, and that is “Will battlepass replace currently considered predatory and P2W monetization schemes such as buying all the progress, perks, soldiers, squad slots etc?”
LOL, do you ever meet those who has the backer’s weapons in game?
They mostly are not playing this game at all!
Why consider those players who may never come back? And even they are back here. They are still a minority of the community.
LOL, ETS2? Verdun? Tannenberg? ARMA3? Why these paid for once still get updates years after their launch?
DLCs? Do the DLC affect your existing gameplay if you dont buy them?
But if you dont buy the P2W stuff here, your game experience will eventually be decreased by those who paid more.
