Actually i was just about to make a thread about this yes the revolvers do need a significant damage increase as they feel very weak currently.

the Moscow Nagant maybe… but the Colt new service is amazing and can down, or even straight up kill, anyone in 2 shots… pretty good for a side arm.
Come to think of it: same thing as the usa revolver in H&G. Took 2 shots 🤷 can’t really expect to down in just a single shot, it’d be stronger than rifles at this point.
They fire the exact same bullets in many cases as SMGs with even shorter barrels. They would cause just as much if not LESS damage than an SMG
You are correct. If we compare the 1911 pistol to the Thompson for example. Same damage values.
Or simply the new service. All of them use the same .45 round.

Same with the M1917 revolver(.45 acp), Enfields are i believe a .38, the nagant is 7.62x38 and the webleys are .455 (atleast many were but not all)

Exactly. It’s why I don’t expect the Enfield revolver to be all powerful… it uses .38.
Mmh in the end, revolvers DON’T need buffs at all 🤷 I already clear houses with the new service and even the weaker webley easily…

How? They fire the same ammo. Just because its fired from a revolver doesnt make it any stronger. Pistols are a last resort weapon or a weapon for people who cant carry rifles (mortars, MGs, drivers). They’re not meant to be a front line assault weapon

Using the 1911 means kills each 2 shots… making that better so that it’d take only a single one, wouldn’t that be overkill?

Dozens of topics about the fact that the nagant is useless… But they didn’t do anything, but they added 3 more useless revolvers to the British.

all secondary weapons should be reworked.
it doesn’t make much sense that a TTk/ppk pistols ( and also revolvers ) struggle to kill someone past the 10 meters ( actuually 5. but not all of them )
it’s unconsistent and unrealistic for those pistols that are not even able to 1 shot in the head soldiers.
i have a clip of shooting a soviet in the head with a field cap that is away 2 meters, and he survived.
just no.
It should do exactly the same damage the other weapons do firing the same bullet period. Why should they be stronger than SMGs? Sounds like the head shot area needs a re work not pistols
