Would be great to have some more Italian weaponry to use on the Tunisian campaign i mean sure the German MP series submachine guns are great and so is the k98 but surely this campaign should mainly consist of Italian weapons and squads. Would be great to have the berretta m38 (20 round?) in place of the MP28, the Beretta M1918 in place of the MP40 and the Mannlicher m1895 in place of the K98. Also I could of sworn the Italian’s also had a rifle grenade launcher of there own however i could be wrong so I’m unsure what you could replace the k98 with rifle grenade with.
Would be great too also see the ross rifle instead of the m1903 Springfield and the Lee Enfield scoped (i saw this in closed beta no idea where it went) instead of one of the Springfield scoped rifles. Would be awesome to see a scoped m1917 Enfield don’t know if this exists in game. Finally perhaps in place of the one of the M1a1 Thompson it would be interesting to see the mark V version of the Sten the one with the wooden front grip again no idea if this actually exists in the game anywhere.
In terms of what the PZB-38 anti tank rifle could be replaced with i suppose the Fucile Controcarro 35 could be an option how i have no idea if it was ever used in Tunisia.
Also will we get Italian/British grenades such as the Mills bomb and SRCM Mod. 35 and flamethrowers like the lanciafiamme modello 35 and flamethrower portable No 2.
Mannlicher is Hungarian and Austrian weapon, not Italian, they just use magazine style for theyr Carcanos. And iirc there is more Italian weapons than Germans already. Dont get me wrong, im all for more Italian weapons, but i also want to use German squads with German equipment, and Italians with Italian equipment. There will be many Italians weapons in future for sure, as Germans dont really have anything else to offer unless they get something like Mkb again that has no place there.
Scoped Enfield will be there, but it is much better than rifles Axis have right now, it reloads whole magazine and has 10 rounds, that is hude advantage tbh.
Imo Flamethowers II will most likely have Italian and British flamethowers, but we will see.
AT rifle could have been Italian for sure, idk why they went with Pzb 38.
Sten Mk.V is 1944 weapon, so most likely wont be in Tunisia.
And i hope they will replace grenades for this campaign, i want Italian grenades that explode when they hit ground.
And dont really get hopes up about replacing anything, they didnt replaced Jumbo, British weapons in Normandy, they wont change nothing even here.

Shame really was hoping Tunisia would have more different weapons and equipment compared to the other campaigns sure the mp40 is great but damn was expecting primarily Italian smg’s instead of german ones in the early stages of the campaign. Besides used German smg’s to death on every other campaign would be nice to have a change.
Well, there are 3 (4 if you count Premium squad) Italian SMGs against 2 Germans, soo there is more options for them. MP 28 is just garbage imo, i scraped all of them. Soo that is basically 1 German SMG.
I dont think they did used Mannlicher, because it is different cartrige and it would just be logistical problem. They had plenty of theyr own rifles, they didnt really need them. Maybe they used them in europe, but for sure not in Africa.
I use MP 40 in German squads only, and i mostly dont run them at all, i main Italian squads soo i use Italian weapons tbh. We will se what comes in future, but there will be for sure more Beretta’s models.
They should of made the second american assault squad get the thompson and then the British paras could of been level 3 with sten mk5s. Its just all odd how they didnt include any commonwealth in Normandy
They didnt even included French. Normandy is just a joke compared to what it could have been. It was multinational operation, consisting of US, UK, Canada, France, Poland, and even Belgium Brigade. And in game we have only 'Murica.

And this system seems kind good, would be nice addition to game. Shame we dont have it, it would be great to have Troopers II to be Italians.
I’m not surprised. It it would have been 32 round version of MP 28, that would actually be something i would like, i love that gun in Normandy with Police squad, but 20 rounds version is just a garbage.
But not ONLY Italian… I also want to see stuff like the pz6, late late campaign, and the Churchill for Brits. I like the mixed faction thing, it’s something I didn’t see alot in games.
I like that idea. We sort of have that now with bolt actions but not much. I really prefer the sights on the 1917 vs the SMLE but the SMLE also holds 10 rounds. I like the trade offs
It was masive even compared to German tanks of that time. But sadly as was said by Joe, they wont be an upgrade compared to Grant, soo i think next one for Allies is gonna be Sherman.
