I m surprised by how good the first baretta is. Very capable weapon.
I wasn’t expecting that.
I would love to see the mg30 (the premium one in Moscow) on any current campaign as a f2p weapon… Wouldn’t mind it on tunisia on a German mg squad.
Mg42s and 34s on every campaign gets old Prety fast.
And for Italian weapons, the more the better. That’s rare that a game have a huge arsenal of Italian made weapons or vehicles. This could be a huge selling point for Italian ww2 lovers. Me included.
I just want to say I am all for no Germany and no America in Tunisia.
I won’t get into Britain as that is fairly well known. But for Italy:
For LMG, there is really nothing Italian other than the Breda 30. HOWEVER, the Italians used captured French FM24/29s. This would make a fine replacement for the ZB-26. The second MG squad would need to be German.
For Rifles, as discussed, there are plenty of bolt action models not in the game that could be used to replace the KAR-98.
For Rifle grenades, there was the Tomboncino M28 Grenade launcher on a Carcano M91TS carbine. As discussed earlier.
For Mortars there was the Brixia model 35
There was a flamethrower, The Lanciafiamme Modello 35 as well as the improved modello 41 and modello 41 d’assalto.
More SMG’s as discussed.
Other pistols… meaning the German ones could be replaced.
Solothurn 20mm anti-tank rifles. Which could replace the initial anti-tank squad.
In short, sure SOME german squads will be needed. High end MG’s and Anti-tank units. As well as the top end tanks (not really part of this thread). But many of the squads and weapons we now have could be replaced with real live Italian equipment.
Forgive me, but there is no logic in your arguments. Perhaps you should delve deeper into the reading material on the Tunisian campaign? From a gaming perspective, every arcade fiction is always possible, but thankfully, an arcade game like Enlisted isn’t from this series.
In my opinion, the Tunisian campaign is a great way to experiment with sub-factions, but the main driving force should be Germany and Britain anyway.
The fundamental position is that We already have 3 campaigns of nothing but Germany. The Tunisian campaign is an opportunity to change that.
Furthermore, the list of equipment I provided is all equivalent to non-Italian equipment in the game. E.G. the Tomboncino as a replacement for the Kar98k wiht Shiezzbecher grenade launcher. Or the Solothurn as a replacement for the PzB-38.
Ultimately this thread and these weapons are pointing out that while German equipment may be necessary for top end squads there is plenty of Italian equipment and possibilities of Italian squads that is unexplored. This is done in an effort to make the Tunisian campaign as unique as possible relative to the other campaigns. Who wants to grind the same old German stuff for EVERY axis side?
Sorry, but it won’t. Just because of the individual desire of players just for the sake of diversity, change the mindset of game developers who present major war theater events as a cornerstone of the marketing and fundamentals of Enlisted.
I think it’s too early to ask for such things, and completely ruin the immersion. I think it’s only a matter of time before we have new campaigns, or sub campaigns, where the things you ask for are possible.
I fail to understand how immersion is ruined. Furthermore, who wants to play the 100th Germany vs everybody game? I, personally, am sick unto death of playing Germany v Russia v America. Yawn. Been done a thousand times.
What game is? Again, if Enlisted wants to break away from every other WW2 game… It SHOULD embrace the opportunities by partnering with Gaijin and expand to less famous nations.
I mean name the ww2 shooter that is doing well right now?
I repeat, here is your personal problem, the lack of understanding of the essence of the WW2 game. May I ask you if you are at least somewhat interested in the history of WW2? Because, apparently, you want a fictional alternative reality WW2 game permeated with unrealistic but enjoyable fiction.
I think COD, and the BF series would really suit you needs.
Yes I am quite familiar with WW2 And also quite familiar with the order of battle of all forces present. Including many many many Italian units and troops.
All of these games are fiction. Fictional reloading, fictional explosive force, fictional running ability, fictional wound results.
In regards to Enlisted and Realism, the game is already replete with rare weapons.
Finally your posts show a complete lack of understanding of the Italian contribution to World War 2.
Again, what is the WW2 shooter that is doing well right now? Post Scriptum? DoA. Heroes and Generals ? All 100 people playing that might think it is good. This game is already breaking the mold with their squad mechanics and free to play system. The next step, in my opinion, is getting creative with units.
There is no reason there can’t be Romanian and Hungarian Squads fighting against Russia. Or Finn squads for that matter. Branch out. Broaden the appeal. Give as many nations as possible the opportunity to play their own troops.
if you ask this at the avarage fps players: bad and ugly germany that sets out to conquer the world and is defeated by the heroic america and the soviet union (with a splash of japan and britan)
