Overview
PPSh-41 “Obrez” in the German tech tree that came with a Guerilla squad is just straight up a copy-paste from the Soviet counterpart and Germany already has many decent BR2 SMGs. I suggest that it should be replace with either MP-41 (r) (currently an event gun) to make German TT more unique and less of a copy- paste.
One thing is for sure, they should replace it with something. I can understand giving factions captured content, but I doubt Germany actually sawed off PPShs to conceal them!
Maybe it’s time to stop trying to give Germany weapons trophies, and start looking for your own? I found a zkz383 for 50 rounds.

Most likely, you’re just not looking well, and if you search more carefully, you’ll find a rapid-fire equivalent of the ppsh that everyone is afraid of and something else that everyone wants, you just need to keep looking.
Alright I concede. The stats and models are different despite the same naming and description but, it doesn’t change the fact they are both of the same SMG. Captured weapon shouldn’t be given to other faction just willy nilly. Much rather having a different unique guns than copy paste or variation of the same model (Japanese M2 Carbine sawn-off, PPSh-41 “Obrez”)
I was wrong but it does look like that in the sheet the recoil for the german one is also wrong.
Baseline recoil ingame is 25v 14 h but on the sheet the stock value it is 24 v and 13 h.
But I am definitely against putting event rewards and similar things into the tech tree. It’s just as unnecessary as it was to add the obrez into German TT.
Literally just to people who either invested time to do these events or paid for the weapon afterwards.
Just make the German obrez a legacy weapon. And that’s it.
Whilst I agree with removing the Obrez from the German thech tree, I don’t think there’s a good enough reason to replace it with the MP 41 (r) specificly.
I don’t have any alternative for now, but I would suggest a new weapon over an existing event, BP, or premium gun.
The devs should admit defeat, some factions are just finished or closed to being finished in terms of historical gear.
Those factions should get subfactions, so they can get common sense TT inclusions for them specificly.
WW2 was a large conflict after all, there’sno need to resort to senseless copy-paste when there’s a wider world out there. There’s content for years, if they just expand horizons.
