After the fall of France in 1940, a large number of MAS-36s where used by garrison troops and the volkssturm later on. But the problem is that a few want it to be available for the allies too. So I’m thinking we should rename the MAS-36 to Gewehr 242(f), with it’s description having "Also called the MAS-36…). Then, we could get an French MAS-36 squad. So what do you guy’s, gal’s, sentient planes, sentient tanks, sentient objects, anime women, and animals think?
Fair compromise in principle but really what is the point of that?
The issue here is adding Mas 36 to Allies while keeping it in Axis. Change the German MAS 36 to the correct German designation and be done with it lol.
Not everyone knows the weapon designations, so there will be many posts asking if the weapon is different or not, so it’s better to have an option to change for the designation or not.
And some people maybe not want to change the original name of the weapon to the designation.
There might be a few posts on the forum but thats still no argument against changing the game itself.
The name change wont affect the gun. Whereas myself and many others didnt want USA and Japan getting copypaste German rocket launcher they never used and it still happened (which did affect the game)
I think the soldier rename orders should be expanded to allow people to rename their weapons too. It doesnt affect custom games. People can name their guns whatever they want.
Obviously shouldn’t appear when dropped on the ground for other people because Heroes and Generals had this thing where you’d find STGs on the floor called “STD-69”
id be for it as long as there comparable that is a super bazooka as strong as the offender, a–symmetrical balance works only when in the end there is balance. if you want just cosmetic differences if you want mustache mans wank dream
