Since the latest update, Italian uniforms are available on all maps, which is a great addition.
However, when customizing Italian soldiers on the Moscow and especially Stalingrad maps, the appearance menu is cluttered with German cosmetics, making it unnecessarily difficult to find Italian items.
Players choosing Italian squads generally do not want to spend Appearance Orders to make them look like German units.
Therefore, I suggest removing German cosmetic items from Italian squads on Moscow and Stalingrad (as is already the case on Tunis), while keeping German gear available in Normandy, the Ardennes, and Berlin, where it makes historical sense.
Do you want German cosmetic items to be removed from Italian squads?
- Remove German cosmetics from Italian squads on Moscow & Stalingrad
- Remove German cosmetics from Italian squads on all maps
- Keep the current state (no changes)

Definitely not.
You can still use German soldiers in Italian squads. Some there’s no reason to do something like. As long as cosmetics are not binded to nationality, there’s no benefit in taking options away from players.
This argumentation is so pathetic. They should just improve UI and add filters to cosmetics submenu.

Absolutely no. Instead they should allow us to mix americans and british as well.
So what? You can also put Italian soldiers into German squads. And you think that means you can give them Italian cosmetics? No? Then what kind of argument is that in your case…

Definitely shouldn’t be since you can use the nationality change feature anyways
Does that mean German squads would logically also get Italian cosmetic items? Or is this argument only good for the Italian minority?

Yes! I hate having by to scroll through all the German uniforms to get to the Italian uniforms

Definitely should be. No reason for Italians to wear German uniforms. This game is already shitty enough when it comes to representing other nations, how about we actually try to improve that?

Mixed italians and germans allow us to make more accurate minor nations like Finnish troops with m33 helmet. It is just a extra option and removing it would only cause harm. We already have italians and germans with mixed weapons so why limit the uniforms?

In that case give German access to American uniforms! Let’s represent Panzer Brigade 150! Come on! We gotta represent minor things in enlisted!
Let’s not go that far. Germans and italians are under same nation in enlisted and they can use eachothers weapons, soldiers and vehicles. It would only make sense to have mixed uniforms as well. Same should happen with british and americans
What I hear when you say this is “The game is already shitty… Let’s make it Shittier!!!”

Really? What German squads have access to Italian uniforms?!?
Every german squad should have access to italian clothes. That way new players can build pseudo italian decks without legacy squads. Veterans could get missing italian squads like at gunner and rifleman.

I don’t believe the game is shitty. It has lots of issues with AI and br balance but it is still enjoyable. Otherwise i wouldn’t bother playing it

In a ideal world that would be the best solution but the devs have other prorities. Mixed clothes are the second best option and more likely to happen because it wouldn’t take that much effort and time to implement

New events to keep playerbase active with minimal effort, new premiums to make money, couple tech tree items if we get lucky and maybe 2 maps a year. I believe many original developers have been transfered to develop warthunder infantry and active matter. That is why major updates have been quite underwhelming recently

Flip this logic around if i wanted italian customization in german squads hahaha i bet you aren’t in support of it now… funny.

I think that should happen. Same for british and americans as well
Considering how absurdly long it took DF to add any Italian uniforms for maps outside of Tunisia… this is completely hopeless.
But honestly, I don’t even care that this won’t happen… because once again it’s just the lazy shortcut, instead of actually giving the Italians a proper (sub)faction with truly unique elements.
What caught my eye was how @Euthymia07-live keeps using this argument, even though it should logically work both ways. Which it doesn’t. Honestly, this is something I’d expect only from a fat cat.
