Remove ADHD movement

We all know what I’m talking about.

The bunny hopping perk(jump 40% higher) and the drop-shotting perk(150% change pose speed), this sort of gameplay belongs in games like Apex Legends and Battlefield, not here. They’re not fun in the slightest, the only thing they achieve is encourage toxic gameplay and raise player frustration.

The worst part is that the AI we have is designed to learn from players, akin to many other games. If you’ve been paying attention to the AI in the past few months, they’ve been increasingly taking after the players, if you aim at the AI, there’s a ridiculously high chance that they will attempt to dropshot you like players do.

No one is asking for hyper-realism, however, the game has gone way off the deep end in terms of arcade movement and gameplay.

The game has been out for long enough to where most people have access to all the perks, to most of the guns, it went from drop-shotting and bunny-hopping being rare occurrences to the gameplay being summed up by: Bunny-hop, drop-shot, suicide bomb, repeat.

Increasing the time to change stance alone would do wonders for the quality of gameplay.
I can’t understand why we’re trying to go for a non-spastic style of play, but you’re allowed to fly around in the air and drop prone in a 2 frame animation change.
Add a good bit of time to change to prone like actually animating the lying down and getting back up and it will make the stance change perk worthwhile since you could say its increased training under fire and tone to back to maybe 50% faster.

Actually I would leave current speed of going prone (but decrease speed of standing up), only with disabled ADS.
You don’t need much energy to hit the ground after all.

Apart for the other perks and drop shorting AI, the boost jump if used correctly can reach pretty good spots with it that normally would not be reachable.

I don’t think it should be removed

Hell only make the perk function if you’re jumping while still idgaf

Many players around favor tactics, teamwork and realism, but a game is a game, we need to always remenber a bit arcade elements are good two.

still, i think it,s fine has it is, if get,s more hardcore realism i don,t care either.

It would require players to play with a bit more thought than press space or z to win
RO2 was fantastic and didn’t have players doing that at all

I use jumping sometimes to get out of the line of fire from tanks or machine guns. If you remove this, the game becomes as camper-like as possible.
The character does not have a lot of stamina, enough for 4-5 jumps at a time and I do not see it as a problem.
The game should remain an arcade game. We already have SQUAD, HLL, Arma, Insurgency

Finally we approve on something.

The problem in bunny hopping is not that one gets hard to hit but the initial milisecond you jump you have 100% accuracy in this game. If this would drop to 10%, nobody would do it.

Removing rat tactics like flying around a corner and dropping prone in one frame isn’t going to make the game campy
Nor does bunny hopping actually stop a tank from just traversing and hitting you while midair lmfao

Honestly just making it RO2 with multiple campaigns throughout the war would be for the best.
Removing bunnyhop and dropshotting wouldn’t make it anything like Squad, HLL, Arma, or Insurgency.

Just spastically increase the cone of fire when dropping or jumping and disallow ADS
You can still fly about and drop down if you’d like, but you’re not going to laser people while doing it

bunnyhopping is a rat mechanic,enlisted can improve on bhop abuse by implementing limited uses of the jump mechanic through tokens not unlike bronze,silver,soldier upchuck tokens,jump tokens can be earned in the battlepass

jumping should be heavily stamina based,and drains stamina pool greatly so that max rank solders only have 3 jumps total
