The obvious counterpart would be a LRDG 30cwt Chevrolet Patrol Car, with a 0.5" Vickers or Browning HMG and a 0.303" Vickers K MG.

Why didn’t they add a rifle or submachine gun? They could have just thrown one into the event.

Well, an event with two squads is not exactly a weak event… they will probably keep single weapons for smaller events.

Would be much better if the Germans would get the squad first the Germans get event squad extremely rarely, but the Ammis get them all the time.

Usually better rewards will be on the last stage to force everybody to grind till the end, it’s the same situation

The driver of the premium “Willys Bazooka” squad is protected from enemy fire. He looks through a viewport while driving. Therefore, he should actually be able to see the fenders next to him—especially since he is positioned some distance back, behind the steering wheel (see screenshots 1-3).

However, from the driver’s perspective, it looks as though he is sitting on the hood because you cvan only see the hood and nothing else (see last screenshot). Since this is not the case visibility here ought to be significantly more restricted due to the fenders protecting him. Specially when looking down he only can see the hood inside of the inside of the jeep instead of the inside of the jeep.

Here is a good comparison: the russian (premium) APC known as the M3A1 Halftrack. The driver is also protected from enemy fire and looks through a viewport while driving. So the view of the “M3A1 Halftrack” and “Willys Bazooka” would be quite the same. But if you compare both, it’s not the same

So from my point of view: the view of the Willys Bazooka is incorrect / not realistic.

Fighting in the desert is harsh, all necessities: ammunition, food, water, soap ect. must be shipped hundreds of kilometres to the front.
The Long Range Desert Group or LRDG for short specialised in striking at the vulnerable Italian supply routes of north africa, these operations require specialised vehicles with enough supply for days.
For this purpose Canadian built trucks were converted to the role, carrying 4-5 personnel, multiple light machine guns of different kinds, anti-tank rifles, sometimes even light AA and AT guns, but AA and AT configurations took up too much space limiting the vehicle to 4 personnel only.
Though primarily used in the north african campaign, these vehicles saw use in the Italian and Balkan campaigns as well.

Remove the effect of the Soviet body armor

It’s time to talk about body armor yet again. An appearance that gives 10% universal damage reduction. It ruins the game in low BR and it gives a huge huge edge in BR5 , public games and custom games. The big negatives of body armor : 14.85 HP instead of 13.5 HP of all the other factions. (A default soldier has 10 hp. Vitality adds 35%, so we get to 13.5. I think it is because of the crates the Metropolitana version has (for grenades instead of weapons as it was irl), and also that it is the AS.42 version we have in WT
