One thing I notice a lot of higher level players do is spam leaning. It looks weird when people are constantly doing this out in the open. I suggest that there be a small but noticeable recoil modifier applied to all guns while leaning. This would make leaning a more tactical decision, only useful for it’s intended use of shooting around corners, where the benefit of not showing your full body outweighs the slight amount of extra recoil.
Seeing people twisting around with machine guns while crouching around is just weird.

Just make leaning 2 times slower

I agree! I think it ruins a lot of immersion when your enemy starts to suddenly yoga.

so much of this, ive seen people go as far as lean with PISTOLS.
and its about time they do something about it. it looks weird, breaks immersion and to top it off, its annoying.
i would change leaning so it only works around corners or next to walls, or just introduce heavy recoil and inaccuracy if firing while leaning

Just add same effect weapons have when You suddenly move them a lot, there is also perk for reducing it already.
Since soldiers make sudden move, it should take some time to aim again.
But recoil modifiers or dispersion is cancer, pls no

i wouldnt mind insane recoil and dispersion if it dissapears as soon as the soldier calms down
Apparently, more and more people start thinking that binding lean command on the same key as ADS is a pro gamer move…

It takes extreme dedication and hard work to come up with a mechanic more retarded than the dolphin diving of old from BF but by God they did it.
It needs to be dropped entirely !
IF kept it only needs to be allowed when actually at a wall corner , etc… and recoil should be a bitch and no accuracy bonus. You are just slightly leaning in a very awkward non-helpful firing pose
It should never have to allowed in the first place let alone letting people stand in the open and be hard to hit by just standing in mid twerk

Recently I’ve played small game called Operation Harsh Dorstep and they have a nice lean mechanic there.
When you press Q/E in the open, you lean only slightly but when you are close to a wall/edge you lean normally. Thanks to this players are basically unable to lean in the open.
Sadly I don’t think it’s possible in enlisted as (from what I understand) it would require similar logic as mounting that is famously and continuously shit.

You gonna be surprised, in enlisted if you touch a wall your soldier automatically lean a bit and this reduce even the weapon recoil

Really? I have to check this.

I don’t see recoil reduction being a thing but yeah, there is kind of autolean in game. Amazing.

Ive seen alot doing it. But its pretty stupid. Might as well run around with a big sign saying “shoot me”…and i just love to oblige.

Crouching at 15 km\h and twerking scoliosis clowns are 1000% more immersion breaking than Tiger tanks attacking Moscow.

They do it because it reduces felt recoil
Its not so much to dodge shots since getting shot in the gut is the same as getting shot in the chest in game
I don’t know why, but seeing the constant leaning really bugs me too - although it is quite satisfying to down one as you know it’s a human player.
Definitely needs looking at though - for immersion if nothing else - I really don’t understand why people spam it so much.

leaning behind objective is very usefull but at open, it just looks weird and actually counter productive.
killed tons of leaners on open.
another reason is speed. this game is too fast
they lean because it manipulates the hitbox in their favour, so thats why you see players pretending to be experiencing 20 strokes at once while shooting the gun

Leaning is completely idiotic. People do it because they watch youtube tutorials on playing FPS games, they know it gives them an unfair advantage so they train themselves to shoot that way. It only works because the movement is so fast you can’t reliably target any part of their upper body.
I don’t even just want it slower. It would have to take at least three times as long for the server to keep up with the movements, and even then it’d be unreliable. Delete lean. It adds nothing.

i wouldnt be deleting stuff, id instead change the way it works, when out in the open, the lean would be small, barely noticable, but around corners it will be basically like the lean right now
