So here your justification is that the fictional gun in fictional BR5 uses same cartridge as tommy makes it assault rifle. Disregarding the fact that 99% of weapons are indeed in theyr right category BR5 being major exception, protos everywhere Fg42 for infantry, T20 post-war soviet jets and so on.
Im just curious when you figure out that rifles and MG’s also share same cartridges do we have mg42 as bolt action rifle or something else extremely genious that could be expected only from you.

If it’ll let assault engineers use something automatic past br 5 and there’s already a 30 carbine assault rifle why shouldn’t it be an assault rifle in game?
