I’m getting tired of the way Rally Points are designed in Enlisted, it’s safe to say that many players are tired of it as well. Just going to offer some suggestions based on the comments I’ve seen toward Rally Points and Spawn Protection.
Nerfs
Cut the Spawn Protection on Rally Points from whatever it is now, to 2 seconds.
That way there’s still a small window for fresh squads to get moving without being immediately cut down by campers, but enemy players will still have a fair chance to engage you. Two seconds go by pretty god damn fast, make the most of it.
Rally Points should have to be an additional 25 meters outside of Objective areas.
I’m of the opinion that Rally Points let you spawn way too close to objective zones. On top of that, there’s an exploit on the Pokrovskoe City (Conquest) map where Rally Points can be built in far corner of the building at Objective B (IIRC), allowing Rally Points in the same building of an objective is unacceptable.
Buffs
Knock 1 second off of the respawn timer for Rally Points.
Being able to spawn in one second faster seems fair to me considering that Rally Points should have to be a little farther from objective areas, just to account for the longer distance fresh squads would have to run.
Allow slightly more leniency for building Rally Points on terrain with a less than mild incline.
Let me preface this, I do NOT want to see Rally Points built on roof tops (especially ones with a steep incline). It’s just ridiculous how flat the terrain has to be in order to place a Rally Point down, it almost appears bugged. Obviously prevent them from being built in ridiculous areas as usual, just offer some more leniency when trying to build a Rally on the ground.

Rally Points should also deconstruct (resource points given back to Engineer) after each phase in Assault and Invasion.

Also i think a very good thing that they can add is that only the person who put the rally can destroy it.

They are definitely way to close to points I agree. I see squads charging within the sight line of the point and they still have spawn immunity and it gets really agrivating
I don’t see this happening often, but there are still cases where someone throws down a Rally Point in a terrible spot and it makes sense to destroy it.
Yes there is problems like that, but often i put my rally on point that i thing good and well covered and someone decide to destroy it, it’s so annoying.
If somebody put a bad respawn point then don’t respawn on it. it’s a problem with multiple perspective like what you said.
On assault and invasion, if u know the next objective if you fail to defend the first one, you can place a spawn beacon inside the objective or really close to it, making the job of defending such objective pretty easy and unfair for the atacker team

Extra 25m mean nothing when the playable map size isn’t that huge. Go 50 meters or 75, both are 5 second difference in running speed.
Spawn protection should be removed on spawn beacons.
You want to be protected you spawn way back.
25m is in mind for Invasion and Assault, anything drastically farther is pointless because the Default Spawn is going to be nearby.
We’re not going to see eye to eye on this. There needs to be some form of protection from campers, and rally points would already be significantly nerfed with my other suggestions. No one should have any issue with 2 seconds of spawn protection on Rally Points. You would likely never even notice the spawn protection if all these other changes were combined in one update.
No, it should be outright removed. Have players get punished for spawning on a bad rally point.
No, they should be destroyed whenever a new capture point opens up to prevent people from building on a future objective point before the radius prevents them from building there. The radius is already 50m in which they cannot build.
If a spawn point is well placed as most are, having a spawn protection means nothing, and I agree with tcat, you want to spawn further and closer to an objective there must be a tradeoff. No spawn protection.
The problem lays on spawn points that are placed on invasion befor the current objective is lost, and the defenders spawn on a new spawn point inside an objective or right close to it, because was made befor that objective was open, and, defending and having a spawn protection it’s really hard to loose that objective,
I do that type of spawn points a lot on d day and the other 2 assault/invasion map. It’s unfair
The average player doesn’t make good choices, and I can’t always throw down a rally point if there are already two of them on the map. No there does not need to be that much of a trade off, when cutting 8 whole seconds off of the protection timer is practically going to nullify it anyways.

How is getting punished for a badly placed rally point that will get destroyed in a few seconds because being in a bad spot anyways “retarded logic” lmao?
Players need to learn that if you build a forward spawn point, they must put it outside of the line of fire. Even 2 seconds are enough to push past a road covered by a MG nest.
“hurr durr let me put this rally point in a hole in front of this MG nest so my soldiers can gain invincibility and kill it” is way more retarded. People should not be forgiven or hell atm it’s even rewarded for making retarded decisions.
Hahahaha agreed. If spawn protection stays I can guarantee a large portion of the player base will leave over time. It needs to be like Hell Let Loose/Squad/PS.
They need to increase the radius of disabling the rally when someone is near by to keep campers from…well camping. If you put it in a bad spot and someone can see it far away that is your own damn fault. Not to mention if you spawn on a rally and die from a “Camper” (I think most times it’s someone trying to take it down and people just like to complain about dying) don’t spawn there again? I don’t understand the logic of "Oh he killed me the second I spawned on a rally…"Spawns again on the same rally expecting different results

Can’t be reduced to 2 seconds !! because after that time you will cry that the tank or plane killed your whole squad with one shot !! there must be 10 seconds or how long there is in order to have time to deploy. The only option is respawn and it cannot kill you as it is in security
