I generally dont give semi auto, m2 carbine or spam 3 smg squads in matches.
I widely use bolt actions, infantry tier 1 in every squad
And like to use mixed weapons like mortar + sniper + enginser unit and like other combination of setups
Like i give 2 semi auto to 9 men infantry squad and rest is bolt action
Feodorov, mkb, fg42 etc… like things i restrict them to top tier assaulter 4 s or engineer 2 squads.
lot of veteran players say they equip every soldier with full autos and semi autos so
If i continue my standart setup formula, will i always end up figthing against newbies and low tiers always ?

You are not gonna be only one playing low tier, i will play it more just because i love bolts, and iirc they said they will match similar levels together soo you shoudn’t be always against newbies.

The BR is max weight, this mean the gun or veichle in your line up with the most high BR decide who aganaist you play, ex if you equip all bolt-action and a tiger 2 you gonna face post war soviet with the rpd because of the tiger 2

Just take high BR vehicles, you dont have to use them.

the lee enfield is the worst bolt action imo

But they should add some ingame encyclopedia to show mid late early war stuff to guide players.
I already created a list of all weapons table according to tineline and stats but most players probably didnt

yeah, they need to have more info on the history of the in-game weapons so people can learn a bit about what they unlocked.

No, you’ll always play against TOP TIER, fully armed sweatlords because:
As soon as you have a SINGLE piece like fedov, fg42II and the like, your br gets to that lvl.
Mixed arms is a thing of the past, it’s what ppl supposedly wanted.

Half Bad idea almost all the gun have similiar gameplay and look like a simple reskin, bolt-action in primis, if you whas thinking at the Warthunder enciclopedia it cant be replicated in enlisted if gun are not 1:1 identical to the counterpart
Yes because mixed arms cant be sustained anymore, 1y ago the game whas full of mixed arms player because those people whas grinding and you can play using mixed arms, now at least every player who joined 1y ago have full endgame gear in one campaign and use only them, even worse, full bot squad are fully automatic equipped and are deadly if you go aganaist them with non upgrade semi or BA, there no way to use mixed arms in between swarm of full auto player, and so whe end with this

There is, it’s easy and I do it constantly. Because the opponents I face are varied, I can use varied weapons and don’t need to min max. If I enter a match with too many sweatlords, I can leave and all is good.
After warthunder transformation, it will be a necessity to min max everything to follow the br line, which will make gameplay less interesting and won’t help new players that much… because of how many veterans that will do everything to be low br and face exactly just them.
It’s been argued a lot already.

Not really… I’ve been saying that since the very beginning, but many ppl here are so eager for changes that they are ready to gobble whatever df will bring without questions, and praise it like the ultimate perfect solution.
A mm is needed it’s true. I just don’t think this type of mm is the best for this type of game.
I don’t want to argue about this anymore thought. What will be will be, I just don’t think it will be really good personally.
Except the merged tech trees with combined unlocks. That will help.

except few RP players mixed arms was never a thing. maybe 1 out of 100 players voluntary equipped mix of weapons. everyone else is trying to maximize their loadout with end game weapons. btw only time you see mixed weapons is when people grind and they dont have enough silver orders for latest guns.
