I think since the Japanese Premium medic squad arrived in the game many people complaining about them having a Type 100 made for paratroopers so I’m bring a solution
The bipod was used in large numbers only on pre-production models, prototypes or early models of the Type 100, were rare to find on battlefields, especially the Type 100 used by paratroopers that removed the bipod for easier transport
A Giretsu Kuteitai Paratrooper with a Type 100 Submachine Gun and a Katana, May 1945 in Okinawa, Kengun Airfield*
In my opinion I think it’s better give the Type 100 paratroopers that was used in large quantities and give the Type 100 with bipod to the medic squad since the bipod was only equipped on Early models.
a small batch managed to reach Guadalcanal for testing probably with Type 100 with bipods
Both of them are paratrooper variants. They both have folding stock and are the same exact gun if we ignore the bipod. Also changing premium content like this will never happen
It is literally the same gun. Para type 100 has a folding stock modification which can also be seen with type 100 bipod. Even in the game files the gun is called type_100_para_bipod or something like that
Even if they are nearly identical changing premiums like that is too drastic and the devs wont risk pissing off paying customers. Not to mention the para squad already has a variant of paratrooper type 100 so there is no need to mess with the other variant from medic squad. There are lots of other premium squads that don’t make sense like m55 reising for medics and turner smle for americans and the devs don’t seem to care
They already did this by putting the weapons from the gold order in the veteran boxes and the new Thompson BR5 TT which was 2,650 gold for four Thompsons in April Fools Day event
Whilst I think logically this is genuinely a great idea, I already know they won’t touch it because of them being premiums. But alas, definitely gonna pick the paratroopers up on a sale.
Adamn, you can’t decree that something makes no sense, that’s not how things work, it just makes it sound like you are incapable of common sense or intuition. Surely I don’t have to explain why paratroopers don’t like loose dangling gear, and how they’d rather choose to take something like a unfoldable and loose bipod off? That’s just common sense…
If you don’t like this change, that’s alright, but entierly dissmissing the concern just makes you look purposefully ignorant.
