Progression poll

What I was trying to point out, was the fact that this is not going to hurt gaijin in any way, company is too big for that, but Darkflow probably would not be able to withstand the storm that would most likely come (especially from European and American markets that are getting more and more aggresive towards gambling in games, and rightfully so). Also to not discredit our cause we should stay at warnings and suggestions.

I’m kinda scared of tier based matchmaking being considered by the devs, if it would work like in War Thunder. I’ll rather keep get killed by heavy tanks and automatic rifles because they were historically used on that theatre of the war and not because I got uptiered.

nah, it would probably work that the game will be matched by your weapon upgrades stars.

the more stars you have, the averange " tier " you get putted into.

example, if your squad has the majority of weapons up to 2 upgrades, you will enter the " tear 2" fighting peoples that has similar upgrades.

ideally… but what our friend in my opinion is not considering, the ammount of " smurf " that would bring.

like, people with no upgrades or let’s just say, squads with 7 people and no upgrades would still be somewhat of a massacre for newer people.

many problems the matchmaking would cause. one of them being the timer to just search people of the same level. ending up not finding a match, or playing the game entirely in single player ( which i honestly don’t mind. but i have to consider the other people that does )

Actually I can name at least two games (both mmos) and guess what, RNG upgrade systems are most hated and criticized mechanics there. And based on those, there are far worse numbers that are possible to go to… and those are numbers we might someday actually see (like eventually 10% or even less… yeah you heard right, that´s actually a thing).

Consider it this way:

Your MP28 was only used in the early battles of the war, so Moscow and Tunesia.
Meanwhile, MP40 was used in all 4 known campaigns.
And MP43 was only used in Normandy and Berlin campaign

As a result, MP28 is tier 1 and using it will let your German soldier fight in Moscow or Tunesia, but you cannot enter matches of later campaigns with this soldier unless you bring him along higher tier soldiers.
MP40 is tier 2 and can be used in any campaign.
MP43 is tier 3 and prevents your soldier from being used in Moscow or Tunesia.

Of course we can split this in more tiers

That, and/or the weapons are still completely campaign locked, but if you have 1* weapons, you can only fight 0*, 1* and 2* weapons. Weapon upgrades raise it by a star, so it keeps upgrades in account. Better weapons also have more by default so it also keeps that in account.

I’d be okay with this if they remove the godawful gacha shit so you’re not constantly short on guns because Upgrade Failed)))))

Sounds like a pointless endeavor. The game will either stand on its merits despite the flaws (to me this doesn’t seem possible in its current form) or it will fail on its own.

You won’t even enact any change this way. Best case scenario - you’d only increase the number of miserable people among Enlisted players. The most effective (and also the only) thing players can do with a game they don’t like is stop playing it. It shouldn’t be this way during alpha/beta test, but I don’t think they were looking for actual testers anyway. To me it looks like they only needed lab rats to give them statistics by running through the maze.

A game fails due to bad rep getting to the people who would consider playing the game but then decide not to due to the bad rep.

I would have played FO76 if it wasnt for the trash reviews upon release, for example.

Bad rep definitely helps with keeping people from playing a game they might regret playing.

And they wanted our cash, which we gave just like before every time Gaijin releases a new premium pack for any of their published games…
