There needs to be a realignment of the silver costs for some weapons. For example the Soviets at BR5 have the AVT-40 for 2050 silver, but in the sub-menu there is the same gun with a 20 round mag for the same price. Who would buy the smaller mag size for the same price? Also the way the TT works, you have to research and buy all items in progression to get to the next item in line EXCEPT for sub-menu items…for these you should be able to pick which sub-menu item you want to unlock. There are MANY examples of this in the TTs where pricing doen’t make sense.
Do you think they should rework pricing and sub-menus?
This would be something I wouldn’t immediately jump on, reason being if done at the same time is a TT rearrange it would create a really, really balanced and clear UI and update. As well as proper pricing per item based on that BR, that would really clean up the post merge era and tighten the designs they are moving twords. The post merge did a lot of damage in the aftermath this is some of that damage. It also did a lot of good, but left us with a system that’s out of organization, space (for Germany), unbalanced, lets users unlock BR II guns in BR IV, etc.
That’s something I would solve alongside this, so the great reshuffle is more effective. Things will actually be able to be balanced correctly because they’re already located in their BR and have accurate pricing.
As for balancing, they do it on a per BR basis. So if pricing only has that 1 layer it causes this. That’s one reason we need dynamic BR pricing. It splits things apart between low BR and High BR, and goes more indepth with costs.
Example being, low BR IV and high BR IV having separate costs. Leaving a first and second slot BR IV item with cheaper prices the the last 2 slots. Say it’s a 30% discount on the first few slots in each BR.
I totally agree with that but because of the tiering system on top of the BR, it might not necessarily move them down. The Soviets and Germans are good examples at BR 5 with the different mag sizes of the same gun…or different versions like the FG42 and FG42 II.
These are the problematic ones as Soviets in BR4 have the same situation withe the SVT. It’s those guns with smaller mags or a slightly lower performing version that should have random sales. Not to mention when you get to things like German BR2 SMGs…anything below the Beretta should be cheaper…then BR5…who would take an MKB-42 or M43 over a Stg 44?
So I do agree with BR tier pricing, I don’t see it getting implemented.
And honestly, for things like the FG42 II sniper that the scope detaches, you should be able to buy them for anyone who can use a rifle and it automatically detaches the scope…it would save having to buy 2 versions of the same gun for the same price. Snipers should just be buying scopes at attach to weapons.
