32 x 2 = 64 ; 64<73; My mistake, the PPD has more than double the ammo compared to the MP40, you specifically mentioned.
Then we need to tune down the damage for the Thompsons massively. There’s no reason for an SMG to do 8.2 damage when velocity doesn’t matter.
They don’t. Each individual round has less recoil than the MP40 or any Beretta. And it has more RPM, 350 more to be exact.
Lol? The PPSh Box mag was only as strong as it was because of the minimal dispersion it had until it was alligned to the PPSh drum mag. It’s an extremely important stat for SMGs or literally any weapon in the game.
However, we already have the PPD-44 with a drum magazine on the BR3. If a submachine gun with a drum magazine on the BR3 is going to be, it should at least be weaker than the Dolganov.
Although it would be strange that the PPD-34 with and without a drum magazine have different characteristics. In that case, the basic PPD could be replaced with a PPD-37 with a folding magazine and bayonet mount. However, I’m not sure it were actually used in combat.
You use SMGs at ranges where 20m of muzzle velocity actually changes anything? I think Sniper Elite might be the game for you, or at least use the giant selection of sniper rifles the German TT boasts.
800-630 = 350, apparently?
Yes, I actually find it funny that someone who likes complaining about checking stat cards can’t apparently open Enlisted Resource.
If you can’t take part in a debate without failing to check simple stats and changing the subject as soon as you are proven wrong, I don’t see the point in continuing this conversation. I certainly won’t be.
You specifically mention the MP40 and a company so I chose the one people can actually work with. The Beretta could be any of a selection of weapons including, but not limited to the Beretta M38, with and without bayonet, the M1 or the M38/42 or even the M1934
If a small fraction of Soviet mains are still this hellbent to put this drum mag ppd34 at br3 then give the br3 drum ppd a fraction of the drum mag( being 50) and at least give br3 Japan the Tokyo arsenal to counteract it.
The difference in damage (recently removed, but could be returned), reload speed and rate of fire is larger on the PPDs, plus the OP gave a good reason why they could be separated even more, making it worthy of a BR change.
How so?
With such a large and active forum community learned on the mistakes of the past I’m sure we will be able to work something out.
120 differency, while notable doesnt exactly make any dramatic changes.
Currently the guns differencies are nonexistent.
And to “nerf” the other one would require reducing mag capacity by half atleast which would kinda nullify the entire point.
Or give it accuracy & handling of shotgun.
Neither seems to be really needed.
There are no “ass-ymmetrical” balance.
Every meta gun has its counter.
Given the 40 round berreta has 690 RoF I’m not entirely sure almost doubling the mag size would justify having 80 less RoF and 0.2 more damage
Reload nerfs help but with this amount of ammunition at this RoF makes it less noticable because you just don’t really run out of bullets during a gunfight (it’d take 7 seconds to shoot out this mag)
I only get about 1k silver per match, if i perform poorly, which is the typical experience for enlisted noobs. I get slightly less than 2k if i do good, i think. So, imo, doubling it is not too bad.
