I have no intention of being hostile, but honestly, I believe this feature has little to no practical value.

Matchmaking already tries to balance the number of players between both teams. In that situation, what is the purpose of randomly grouping unrelated players together?

Actually, it goes beyond being meaningless — players who enable this feature may even be put at a disadvantage.

As far as I understand, when a premade group enters matchmaking, the system attempts to balance the match by placing them against another group whenever possible.

However, when players use the “Group is Recruiting” feature and random players are temporarily grouped together, the matchmaking system detects them as a group. As a result, the opposing team may also be matched with an organized group.

This is where the problem begins.

Most players who join a random group through “Group is Recruiting” are noobs. They often do not even know whether this feature is beneficial or harmful.

Because they are treated as a group by the matchmaking system, they can end up facing experienced premade groups that communicate through Discord and coordinate their gameplay. (I have confirmed this through replay analysis.)

Some people may say, “Then just disable the setting. It won’t affect you.”

Unfortunately, that is not true.

The possibility of a solo player being placed into a match between a random group and an experienced premade group still exists.

If you are placed on the team with the randomly assembled group, you may experience a one-sided defeat.

New players encountering experienced players is something that naturally happens in matchmaking and cannot be completely avoided.

However, noobs being placed against highly coordinated veteran groups because of the “Group is Recruiting” feature creates an unfair situation.

I assume Darkflow introduced this feature to reduce the long waiting times for group matchmaking. However, unfortunately, it seems to result in unfair matches far too often.

Please consider returning matchmaking to the state it was in before this feature existed.

The problem of long matchmaking times for groups should be solved through other methods rather than creating situations where inexperienced players become easy targets for organized veteran teams.

Thank you for considering this feedback.
Of course, I may be mistaken about some of the information I mentioned. If there are any inaccuracies, please feel free to point them out.

Looking back after coming back to the game this year, I remember having a really hard time because of that feature, which I had turned on without even knowing what it was.

First, where is the vote, and second, you’ve inspired me with an interesting idea.

First, we need a general chat and a squad chat for coordinating only among squad members, making it easier to identify those who play with a checkmark specifically for cooperation.

Second, we need to support these players in the game’s language so that the voice chat with random players makes sense, and we also need a feature that allows us to mute individual players if one of our random teammates turns out to be a squeaky schoolboy (joke)

You can check the vote right at the top.

This is incorrect
The feature doesn’t affect stack matchmaking
