Please add the German Brummbär and the British Churchill AVRE to the tech tree or the upcoming D-Day event

Churchill AVRE: British Ground Heavy Tank

The 150mm Brummbär Assault Tank was a “building-demolition masterpiece” adopted and fielded by Nazi Germany starting in 1943. It was also the heaviest variant derived from the Panzer IV chassis.

Boasting solid protection offered by 100mm frontal armor sloped at 40 degrees, along with its powerful 150mm Stu.H.43 howitzer, it established itself as an ideal fire-support vehicle in the eyes of German infantry.

Nevertheless, its heavy armor and formidable gun could not mask its glaring flaws. Weighing 29 tons put an excessive strain on its chassis, leading to frequent mechanical failures in service.

The German 219th Sturmgeschütz Battalion documented the Brummbär’s actual combat performance in detail during battles in December 1944. According to the battalion’s report (Chinese translation attached below), while the vehicle performed well against enemy forces under certain conditions, technical losses caused by overloaded chassis and damaged components far exceeded its tactical losses sustained in combat.

Furthermore, the Brummbär suffered from an even more critical safety hazard: premature detonation of ammunition during reloading, which resulted in total vehicle destruction and crew fatalities. This cast immense psychological dread and pressure on tank crews.

I’m getting tired of British content being event prizes and premiums! Add it to the Research Tree! Britain should be a full sub-faction until it’s its own faction!

Since soviets got isu-152 and japanese another 120mm (sad it only has 10 ammo)

I don’t see anything Bad on getting high calibers for br 5

A year ago, McDonald’s promised there would be sub-factions, but it hasn’t happened yet and seems far off.

Churchill AVRE’s armor protection is excellent and should be at BR5. Additionally, enlisted shells have aiming reticles on the ground, making it much more useful than War Thunder.

Makes me think…

That Churchill avre rounds look like they aren’t loaded like a regular tank shell - it is maybe loaded from outside the vehicle like a SturmTiger?

they also promised that USSR and Japan will get their own highBR AT-gun built by engineers
meanwhile over 1,5 years later … still nothing

they told us couple of time they will make the bots smarter (not running infront multiple times / not running into places where we start building RallyPoints / not running from alone into the enemies while they still have a command to stay behind on a place)
→ guess what all reappear without being fixed?

I wouldn’t count on their promise. Most of them are “forgotten”.

Or let’s take my russian assaulter event squad: instead of using their main weapon (AT-44) they still run around with the Yazikov as pistol instead of using their main weapon. Got “fixed” multiple times but still reappear days after the socalled “fix”

Sturmtiger is loaded from the inside, the AVRE is loaded by the co-driver opening a hatch above him, turning the ‘barrel’ 90 degrees upwards and sliding the round in, then rotating the ‘barrel’ down and retreating back into the tank

In the Gaijin World’s game time and space concept, this tank can be refilled from the inside, hahahaha

Exactly! Move British ones to BR2 since their range is only around 100 meters. Shift German variants to BR3, then the StuG II can naturally drop down to BR2.
I’ve long expected these two large-caliber vehicles to be added. Currently only the Soviet Union has 150mm caliber armored tanks, and other factions deserve to have them too, except Japan, whose tech tree is extremely lacking.

Japan only has an open-top vehicle similar to the StuG II, with no captured British AVRE and very few available vehicles.

Germany can add captured KV-2 equipped with smoke launchers in the future, allowing all factions to enjoy heavy large-caliber firepower.

I also suggest moving the German Brummbär to BR3, which can bring the ISU-152 down to BR3 as well.
From the discussions on the battle rating of the ISU series, to those about the German Panzer IV series, as well as Japanese tanks

I once posted a poll proposing to lower the ISU-152 to BR3. Back then most players agreed it belonged at BR3, and wanted the StuG II moved to BR2.

I wouldn’t count on anything our “beloved” CM and devs say. It’s mostly lies.
