Plane Timers

I like this idea, but why not couple it with something else that would also work well with this, why not have all planes have fuel set to like 5 minuities or something and if you run out of fuel, you lose control of the plane and it “flies back home”? This would also fix the issue where all planes spawn in with max fuel despite making things like the P-51 significantly harder to fly because of it’s incredibly large fuel tanks.

I understand what the other guy is talking about locking people out of that role. I personally would love whether or not they are doing well, limiting them it would make it fair for both high skill and low skill players.

that would work for in universe too like a fuel gauge with a little timer or something. That would allow everyone to use the planes instead of one guy afking in a plane or spinning in a circle.

Planes do have fuel, it’s just the devs decided to give every plane full fuel loads so you never risk running out. Dunno why they did that, because no one needs an hour and 40 minute of fuel and all that does is mess up the flight performance of the plane.

Just discussing, but with the point system (which again i dont mind as it would benefit me more than not) i would be able to keep cycling those vehicles over and over (as i did in the event) because they generate so much score.

I think the only thing i am opposed to is

  • vehicle cycling
  • limited time use or forcibly being removed

All the other suggestions i dont mind, except that vehicle cycling will still be doable

With this statement, I think you misunderstood what I was suggesting.

Just to double check:

I’m talking about needing a score quota reached within THAT vehicle, NOT the case like they did with the mech event.

Additionally, perhaps make a new rule/ mechanic that you can’t take similar vehicles (such as attack planes) back to back. You would need to go through a different squad type first.

For this point it all depends on the design. The developers have actually considered this.

The current setting of PersonalSpawnScore is an array.

The points spent are different each time you deploy. Based on the position of array elements

The code base is already supported.

For example

The first three times do not cost points and are the simular to CRSED’s hero skills.

Just leave it the way it is, heck many matches have next to nobody flying, and in the end your just putting you needs above somebody’s else’s, if you cant fly in this match fly in the next one.

I fly often, and rarely, very rarely if I Fly first, and wait the 1.5 min or so to go, I almost never get pushed out of the Attacker and Fighter slot.

this imo, is a non issue.

Man you guys always come up with ideas to further restrict gameplay because of one or two bad experiences you had in-game
