Could you explain a bit more? Like can you aim with a pistol like this or would it just be hip fire? Can you use all melee weapons or only a knife in this mode? Can I swap it around so it’s melee left pistol right? What would theoretical controls be?

And most importantly, would it just be available, or is it a perk that’s choose able? And will it be available for all soldiers or only a few?

Perhaps a special perk available for normal and skin pistols rather than two handed weapons like a swartz and perhaps enabled as a fire mode would be best.

Hell no, no such technique even existed at that point, that’s a technique from the 70s meant for cops to hold their flaslights (Harries technique)

Even the current animation is wrong, soldiers should shoot with a single hand and have their bodies facing sideways.

Mate, you didn’t even justified how would this be useful or added any historical sustain. I don’t think it’s lack of effort since it’s your first time posting, but you should’ve made this more detailed instead of just simply 2 sentences, and you didn’t even include a poll.

Sure…my toughts are you have 1-hand melee weapon (sword, knife, axe) in one hand and 1-hand firearm (pistol) in other hand…you can aim down sights and fire weapon as usual (like you do with pistol allready) and use melee button in controls to use the melee weapon.

This could be available to all (by pressing both 3 pistol and 4 melee weapon controls…pressing again could holster the weapon…when you just want sword for speed…pressing 3 would holster the pistol)
or just with perk (then enough to press weapon 3 or 4 to equip both melee and pistol)

my toughts so far…sorry that my idea isn’t 100% complete.

This may be more accurate to pirate games than ww2…so not so much historical…but could be fun…its a game.

I’d rather it as a perk as opposed to a given fight mode, but that’s just my opinion on the matter.
