the ppsh does 6.6 damage per bullet, which necessitates 3 shots to finish of someone using vitality at close range. The kiraly only needs 2 shots up to 20 metres.
The kiraly is perfectly competitive at tier 5 actually. But I get the impetus to have a tier 5 smg for germany. maybe the sig mmo, or suomi kp 31 can do the job. as modelled in game, german 9mm does 6.8 damage, which two shots at close range (unless body armour is involved).
If the sig mmko were added with its orignal rof, ~850 (default?), it would be truly powerful adversary for the soviets.
problem is, these were relatively rare guns for the conflict, so may not likely be added as tech tree.
Maybe the suomi with some other magazine type, since the premium already exists.
Actually, considering the ppsh obrez is in game, we might as well make a case for the bunker suomi to be added as well, in full glory with its drum mag lol. plus theres a bunch of not so historical things in this game already.
If the MP-41(r) is currently a gacha weapon available in Silver Chests, then I hope the MP-717(r) submachine gun can also be added to the German weapon tech tree, since it’s the final reward for the German faction in the Battle of Stalingrad. Alternatively, the developers could also add historical squads using the MP-717(r) submachine gun to Silver Chests for all players to obtain.
it is a game. Content is not exclusive, it should be accessible to new players. This is not a trust fund, it is a game. Let new players have fun / access to content.
U made the same argument for SPAAs. This is pure greed - and no, I am not a communist, i just want the same access to weapons / equipment as u did sir
Seems like you have no clue how majority of live service games works.
No, it shouldn’t be. Especially since its counterpart is already in Soviet tech tree.
I have no clue why the most well known Soviet smg should he in German tech tree. It would only further undermine faction integrity for no good reason whatsoever.
Not to mention there’s plenty of unique drum Smgs that could be used for German tech tree instead.
Well, you should. But through time limited opportunities in form of events and similar stuff. Not by putting everything into tech tree.
Such as?
AFAIK the only non-proto drum weapons (excluding MP28s with drums) are Suomi.
One version is already premium, the flamethrower as well, and the only other version is collecting dust in the files for ages now next to the Panzerschreck and Panzerfaust Klein.
And given that all Finnish equipment so far was either premium or BP, there is no high chance it will become TT if it ever gets released.
The devs apparently neither.
Also, at this point the devs already reintroduced old stuff such as the Panzer IV G and gave “vets” a special SG version so you might as well reintroduce the MP717(r) and the Mannlicher to the TT and give “vets” a special skin for their guns so they can feel special.
The lootboxes already allow you to get previous content back (often older than Stalingrad) so might as well them there and allow “vets” to stock up.
I mean, the most well-known German anti-tank weapons are in the Soviet, American, and Japanese TT so might as well give the Germans another Soviet SMG/ not the Balkan-War Obrez.
Already pointless since modern Enlisted events often just use recycled rewards and silver boxes allowing you to “buy” essentially old stuff you missed plus minus sales of premium squads from 2021.
Some unfortunate news. Unless it was specifically for the flamethrower version it seems they have given the SJR a rectangle front sight post instead of the thinned out triangle.
However given its primary use would be for cqc wouldn’t hurt too much however the suomi we originally had performed surprisingly well at range for me.
Some content has to be exclusive for people who have been here supporting the game with their time and money for a long time. You should have bought more when you had the chance.
I have and agree to give it to the newbies, stop thinking only about yourself, think about the faction.
You should learn to read.
We don’t need to leave a weapon that is so necessary for Germany locked away in the past just because of a few veterans who want to feel superior to the newbies
