Paratroopers being too OP

The troops that can be dropped in using parachutes are too OP (Normandy). They can be dropped directly onto the point before the defending team’s troops can draw back and gain defensive positions. I went from having at least a 50/50 chance to win if I had a good team but now I’m constantly losing in Normandy. More realistically the troops would be dropped before a battle or near the start to gain an extra fighting force behind enemy lines. Personally, I would make these troops only available for use at the start of a battle as they would be used in reality.

What happens then, if both teams full of real players,(not that, this is likely) all paradrop at start of game? :rofl:

Both end up in middle in carrier planes shooting each other, then bailing, into a open battlefield, then, all try to capture. :rofl:

Definilty like to promote this a new arcade game mode :stuck_out_tongue:

No, all the planes collide killing all the players in the beginning.

Look on the bright side. Its a good thing

Might finally force their hand into locking the next cap point for a period of time before being available to cap.

Has been wanted for a while.

Other than that…havent had any issues with paratroopers because I am actively “looking for them”

I think one way to nerf the paratroopers is to start with the transports, have them start further away, and mark the transports as friend or foe, making them more likely to be directly shot down by fighters

there’s already a lot of shit to see in front of players. asking them to look up every now and then would distract them.

now if there’s an announcement that there’s paratrooper parachuting… you know, like when an airstrike is coming? that would incentivize player to look up more. also would make the paratrooper player pick a safer landing spot

as it is, it’s very rewarding to just drop your paratrooper right on top of the enemy because they wouldn’t know there’s paratrooper until they see them shooting at them. sometimes not even that.

Paratroopers plane should have a marker for show if they are friendly or enemy, currently they are like ghost plane

when someone says something stupid like this i wonder if they even played allied paratroopers with vickers. i would gladly take fg42 on allied paratroopers any time of the day…

Normandy is ruined. The only campaign i was playing and getting satisfaction now is ruined by paratroopers and guys with autoaim bots you now who i am talking about, you all know how their nbicknames look like.

It was pleasure to play last summer, now its like turbo session. I even have not build rally point and the enemy is already taking the position. Or i play against bots in enemy team. No challenge no nothing .
