Paratroopers being too OP

How many battles do you have? With the squads and arsenal at your disposal i am surprised that you say paras are OP. You have paratroopers too, use them. The defending team has time to spawn and run to the point but if you are trying to retreat and get to the point its on you, the team shouldn’t have lost the point. As you rush to defend, other rush to attack, so its normal some attackers being there before you. Feels like you need more battle to turn things around. gather more experience and come back with more constructive suggestion.
If it was an exploit or a spam it would be normal to report the problem but nerfing everything because you think its OP is not an argument and Gaijin should be able to see the difference. You have the Paras, use them and practice. seems like you need more battles.

It’s great for assaulting an enemy position and charging into the objective that the allied players would never understand that because they’ll never pull the stick out their ass or they do not know how to use the weapon And charging an objective with a 20 round magazine versus 100 it’s easy to know who’s gonna win especially when you’re dealing with nine man squads or seven man squads

I say have para squads wait 60 or more seconds after cap before they become available for the attackers. Give the defenders a damn chance. I never use those squads unless I’m on defense.

I have used my axis paras a few times, i keep forgetting about the launcher, lol
as FG are nice gun to use, even without the grens, i don’t even bother with the crate lol,
I have them on all engies, so i used them a bit anyway,

More proof we need a lock before attacks can push the objective.

People keep spitting on FG paras and claiming Vickers squad OP for ONE simple reason:

The FG squad requires more tactical playing to shine.

The Vickers, on the contrary, is tailor-made for braindead zerg rushing.

Guess which one is easier to take advantage of?

Nah, since British para squad can take lanchester with ±280 ammo, this squad is definitely more versatile and more noob friendly than german event one.

FG squad is just very mediocre and balanced. It’s not as noob friendly as Vickers squad is. But it isn’t certainly a trash.
Thrash squad is for example premium MP18 one.

i wouldnt call vickers noob friendly… unless you go prone it is terrible with its recoil. you can only use it in short bursts and cause of dispersion you can sometimes miss.
i agree that lanchester is more noob friendly, but combination of mg34 and fg42 is also very potent.

You really do not care about recoil if you are rushing objective and full auto spray people that are 2 metres away from you.
This simply something every player can brainlessly do. And something in which FG squad would be way more ineffective.
That’s why I think playstyle of vickers squad is more noob friendly.

well i use them mostly for flanking and destroying rally points, so for me vickers suck cause most of my engagements are on mid range.

As Adam said, people who think Vickers rocks and FG sucks are most likely the ones whose favourite (or only) way to go is rush & spray.

What’s wrong with a lil rush and spray, huh?

Nothing, until one starts throwing poop at an otherwise good squad that, incidentally, is less good than the other at rushing and spraying.

exactly what i said but, not as passionate. I’m the only player to build rally points in my team and no-one bothers to capture or defend the point. maybe a tutorial at the start of the game showing why its important and necessary to hold these points would be good.

My main gripe with paratroopers is how fast they fall with nearly no warning. Suddenly you are just standing in the middle of a squad of paratroopers with flamethrowers, burning down the entire area, killing everyone there in seconds.
They are killing balance and they are killing the fun. At least for everyone else.

They fall too fast to be able to hit them from any range. The speed they touch the ground, they should break both legs…
