AVS-36 was fine if properly maintained (most were not because maintenance was complicated and expensive) I think you meant the AVT-40 which was just an SVT-40 with full-auto fire setting, never designed for prolonged fire thus the barrel failed very quickly under automatic shooting.

One day even paper/prototype/what-if WW2 weapons and vehicles will dry up.
The qestion is, when that inevitably happens, is it worth it to end up like a trash dumpster or a self-respecting WW2 game.
It wasnt really any better, worse actually if you ask me.
Much more complex and at the end of day it wasnt structurally any more capable to handle full-auto fire than avt40 ( which could not handle it either )
I think you are underestimating the amount of stuff that still could be added. Pre war weapons, guns from other nations, hundreds of vehicles from warthunder and all the obscure prototypes will last for years. After that the game is either dead or moving to cold war. We will never run out of content

It can even be used as an event or prem squad.

After a quick Google search. How come Cuisine Royale gets the Panzerschreck while Enlisted, an actual WW2 game does not?

Well exactly that I would prefer to avoid.
I don’t want to see more prototypes and WW1 weapons in the game than MP-40s and PPSh-41s.
I understand that but the devs have had other ideas for a very long time and it is unlikely that they do a 180 at this point. That being said lpg 44 would fit into the game perfectly but we can agree to disagree
